Disney Visa question

1. If I use my Disney Visa to book a package, do I have to charge the deposit and the balance in order to get the 0% for 6 months?

2. If I do use it for my deposit, do I get the 0% for 6 months on the $200 or just on the balance?

I have never not used the disney visa for mine, but here is how mine worked...


1. Deposit with Disney Visa on 4/1/2007 Visa shows deferred payment of deposit due on 9/1/2007

2. Balance with Disney Visa on 5/1/2007 Visa shows deferred payment of balance due on 10/1/2007

3. Called back and had them book airfare on 6/1/2007 Visa shows deferred airfare payment due on 11/1/2007

So my assumption is that if any vacation package booked through WDTC would get 6 months 0% interest.

Both receive the deferment of interest. They show as seperate items with different end dates. Our deposit is due by Dec (booked June) and the final pmt paid in Aug by Feb. They don't even accrue interest as many interest free offers do. Just make sure to pay it off by the end date. Also, I was told if any other new purchases are made, payments go towards the new purchases first (to avoid interest on that). Good deal all the way, plus Disney dollars to spend there!!

Well, I know that's how it worked for my Disney Cruise deposit that I charged earlier this year, but last year I did not receive the 0% for 6 months on my resort package deposit. I did receive it for the balance, though.

Maybe they didn't code something the right way. I actually had 2 deposits this time and both had the deferment as well as final payments.

You should see the promo on your next statement, if not there call to have them put it on. When making the reservation I did mention about the promo. Maybe something has to be done on the reservation end. I do know that we also purchased tickets for Mickey's not so scary Holloween Party and this was Not at 0%. Just vacations.
