Hi- Ok I returned from Disney May 23. I got my statement and it is not giving me the promo rate for my vacation, eventhough they gave it to me for the deposit. When I checked on it the told me that I had to charge the entire amount for it to count. So now I am really annoyed and they also just raised my interest rate from 8 to 14% i have called and they all send me to other people one actually having me call Disney Travel (hello the reservation line). Now I have tried to cancel it and they will not let me, they keep telling me different things to get me off the phone, like one told me on my checks I could get 0% when I called back the next person said that I did not qualify. Then I finally got through to a supervisor to cancel this after speding 2 weeks hassleing with this and talking to 10-15 ppl. and ask to cancel my card - she has kind of a dry sense of humor and says kind of joking<"what is your problem do you just hate mickey mouse?" It just rubbed me the wrong way- I did not get the sense she really understood what I was talking about. Then I called back and got someone else explained the deal said that I wanted to cancel and she said that I had 68 reward dollars and if I closed the account they would be forefitted, which sent me over the edge and I yelled that that made me furious and I wanted a supervisor and she screamed back at me! I did yell and it was not her fault, but still--- she should not have yelled back and for her to be so hateful - I hung up on her and all of my frustration came out and Ijust cried! This is so annoying and I am just mad because it is like they do not want to be the one to cancel my card so they will say anything even lie to get me off the phone with them -

That's horrible... have you tried e-mailing them? Also, when you call, don't even explain much to the person answering the phone and then ask to speak to the supervisor - then explain a little and if they seem as if they're giving you the run around again, ask to speak to THEIR supervisor... just keep going up the chain until you get a straight answer. They can't put you off forever. I hope this works out for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed and say a prayer. :) It will all work out in the end. Just keep trying. Don't settle for anything.
 
Ever since Chase has taken over CS has declined .They have too many speciality cards to keep track of whats what.I always just have copy of the offer in front of me and read it to them and make them apply it.

Most times it does no good to ask for a supervisor because these call centers don't care and will tell you it's a supervisor and it's just the person sitting next to them they will pass you from person to person until you get fed up and just hang-up.

I always give them the same they give me .I am recording this for my records could you state your name .then I state I just want to cancel my account and exspect it to be canceled from today on.They become very accomadating at this point.
