Disney Visa Premier question

I have the regular Disney Visa credit card. I'm thinking of switching to the premier. I called today to see about switching and I was told by the Visa operator that I'm NOT eligible for the $100 signup bonus because I'm an existing customer, and I can only convert my account to premier sans
$100 bonus.
Anybody else have luck converting their account to premier and getting the $100 credit?

I'm thinking I'll have to close my account and hope I get an offer in the mail.

I would call back and talk to someone different or ask for a supervisor. When we switched last year the offer was $150 and we got it without a problem.
