Can someone give me the jest of these things.

I have searched and read only ot get more confused.

Here is the one thing that I know.

My Disney Visa expires on 10/ 2006 and I have about 300 points on it now.

Help!!!!

My Disney Visa expired this March. They just sent me a new card about a month prior to the expiration date and everything just continued on as normal. This should not disrupt your points at all (unless it says your points expire on 10/2006). You should be fine.

Your points should not expire for several more years. Your rewards card might expire (mine expires 12/05) but I plan on using all the reward dream dollars on our trip to WDW in October.

It will tell you on the Visa statement, below where the points are documented, when they will expire. My last statement tells me that 12 of my 500 points will expire 5/0009 - I guess the rest expire later than that. My Disney Visa card expired 3/05 - I received the new card the first week of March, and it's good until 2008 now.

Just remember there is a difference between the Disney Visa credit card you carry and use and the Disney Rewards Card onto which you transfer points and then use as it it were a credit card at Disney. Got that? :confused3 If so you're fine. As I understand it your reward points don't have an expiration date until you move them to a Disney Rewards Card. That card has an expiration date. Once you move the points to the card you must use them by the date of expiration. So don't move them until you know you'll use them. Huh? :rotfl: :confused3 :teeth:

Is there somewhere that tells us how much the points are worth? For example is each point = to $1 or something like that?

According to my Disney Visa statment the reward points DO have an expiration date, even if they are not yet transferred onto your rewards card. As I mentioned above, on each of my recent monthly Visa statements, there is a sentence below my rewards balance that says " 12 Reward dollars that will expire 4/2009" (I currently have over 500 reward dollars, none of which have been transferred yet to my rewards card). This is not in reference to my rewards card, as I brought that balance to zero last year during our trip.

Back in Feb 2004, I had 84 reward points earned on my Visa statment, and it said "84 reward dollars that will expire Feb 2009."

Charge Card Expiration Date - That is the exp. date printed on your Disney Visa charge card, just like it is on any other charge cards you might have. Normally, you will be issued a new card (without asking) before your present card expires.

Rewards Expiration Date - If you do not transfer your rewards to a "Rewards Card", they will expire 5 years after you have earned them. If during that 5 years your "Charge Card" expires, they will roll the rewards you have earned over to the new "Charge Card" they send you.

Rewards Card Expiration Date - Once you have transferred your rewards to a Rewards Card (in order to spend them), they will expire Dec. 31st of the year following the year you had them transferred. ~:)~

Well put. Thankfully, I'm retiring my Disney Visa after I charge the balance of our WDW stay 48 days prior to our trip, so I can collect and USE all those dang dream dollars in WDW. THat IS why I got the card to begin with!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Know any other good reward cards with no annual fee? Enquiring minds!
