Hi all,

I just found out about the Epcot Meet & Greet and the Behind the Seeds discount - are there any other great perks in the world for cardholders? This is our first trip with one and I feel very ignorant...

Thanks, Carrie

If you are interested in the tours that Disney offers - You also get a discount for that.

We booked for "Keys to the Kingdom" and saved more with the Disney Visa than we could have with our AAA membership.

me and my girl got mickey and mini pictures toke. plus we got a free picture. when got all or photopass stuff. save us 13.00 and the coolest thing was that was at the top of my list for pics, besides the castle. :cool1:

Hi - I'm interested in the free photo. I have a Disney Visa. Do I have to sign up on their web site or something or just show my Disney at Epcot? Where do I go to get it?

THANKS for the info!
Karen

Yes, I'd like to know as well. I just signed up for the card and they told me I have to wait until the first billing cycle before I can get any "rewards" dollars. (which should be soon) and I really only did this for my upcoming trip so any tips anyone has would be great!

THANKS!

nope you don't have to sign anything. just go the learning center that has alot of interactive stuff and thats were mickey and mini where. they asked for my card so they could see i was a member they took pics and handed us a coupon for a free picture.

All you need to do is go to http://online.firstusa.com/ and log in to your Disney Visa account. Then click on the appropriate link to view the current card holder offers. There are special offers available for use at WDW, DL, on entertainment (such as Disney on Ice), specific merchandise, etc..

We are looking forward to getting 10% off at World of Disney at DTD using our Disney Visa

I called Chase a few weeks ago and they said you just show up and present your Disney Visa. I was told Innoventions West between 1:30 and 4:30pm.

Yeah! I just checked it out on my visa. That's what you do. Does anyone know who is there -- is it always Mickey and Minney. That's really cool if so, this way we don't have to go on a "mouse hunt" throughout the week. :earboy2:

is this a one time thing or can you do this once in Sept and then again if you go back in Dec??? Just curious .. has anyone did this more than once?

The current offer for the special Disney Character Meet at EPCOT (& Free Photo) is set to expire on Sept. 30th. No way to know right now if they will extend this offer (or something similar) in the future. :confused3
But I do believe the offer stated a limit of one per account, so I don't think you could re-use this same offer multiple times on the same account.

Double check your dates because I believe its Sept "2006". At least thats what my e-mail said.

Yes, that is a Sept. 30, 2006 expiration.

I do believe that the offer is limited to one per card account though.

From the web site:
"1Limited to 6 people per card. Operating times, days of the week, locations and appearance of Characters may vary. Subject to availability and location capacity. Offer includes one 5x7 keepsake photo per valid cardmember account."

I've been very frustrated with the "perks??" for the Disney Visa. I was hoping for better offers for the resorts and parks.

Just the points itself has been huge for us. We went to WDW last year and used about $150 in points towards our tickets. And THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW :Pinkbounc we're leaving for MYW+dining and had aobut $375 to put toward that - making it an even better 'deal' than just the free dining.

Plus since I paid that we have about $40 to use toward soveniers at the parks.

I love my Disney Visa!!

Do they e-mail you or old fashioned mail you offers for discounts, or do you have to constantly look them up on the Chase website? I love bargains, but not when I have to look for them! I'm particularly interested in the free movie tickets.

Thanks!

All of the above. Checking the website is a good way to find out about offers. But they will also send things in your statement and send out a newsletter that includes discounts.

I also believe I have receieved a couple of emails from them.
