Disney Visa Parade of Dreams Priority seating?

Has anyone taken advantage of the Disney Visa's priority seating for Parade of Dreams yet? If so, how's the view? Where's it located? What show stop did you see?

It sounded like you had to book your entire vacation package with a Disney resort hotel and use your Disney Visa to get the parade seating too...
Did anyone else understand this differently?

You can also book at a Good Neighbor hotel. You just have to book through Walt Disney Travel Company and pay for your trip with your Disney Visa.

Yes, we booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company and we're looking forward to this perk.

We booked through WDTC as well. I'd love to know what others who have done this think of the seating.

We booked through WDTC and used the Disney Visa, so we've got several different priority seatings from each one. Now if I can just figure out what exactly they are all for!

My seating for the WDTC booking says it's Preferred Seating for Snow White and then there's one listed that just says Preferred Seating...I'm assuming that's a parade??? The Disney Visa seating simply says Visa Premium Preferred Viewing...another parade???

When you pay with your Disney Visa, you get the following:
* Preferred seating at Snow White - An Enchanted Musical
* Premium viewing at one of the parades at either Disneyland or California Adventure
(I figure this means one of the following: Parade of Dreams, Electrical Light Parade, and maybe Block Party Bash)
* Disney Tote Bag

When I asked WDTC I was told the preffered seating for the Disneyland parade was by It's a Small World & at California Adventure it was in front of the Golden Dreams show.

I had Preferred viewing for the Christmas Parade last year & it was by Small World. They set up chairs accross from the Small World entrance.

I don't know for sure if it will be in the same location.

I booked my vacation through AAA and paid with Disney visa but no one will help me get these perks. I leave on Sunday so maybe it is just too late but is there anything I can do?

If you paid completely with your Disney Visa - deposit & balance, and haven't received any vouchers - you might get them when you check in. However, if you don't get them at that time either, you can go to the Walt Disney Travel Company office in Downtown Disney & fix it with them. The office is located next to Compass Books, across from the Disneyland Hotel.

The seating for Parade of Dreams is directly across from It's A Small World when the parade starts by IASW. We stood right behind this section on Monday since there were very few people in it. The seating for the Electrical Parade is right outside of Playhouse Disney.

We just used it and it was great. They rope off a section and there was only about 2-3 other families so we could have some room. There is a CM there shooing others away that dont have the passes.

One shot deal - you must give the cast member your voucher when you use it.

Actually it depends if the CM takes the voucher. They should but did not take it from any of the families when we went so you could reuse them or use them for the Electrical Parade in DCA.

Too cool! I don't think it would be a big deal for ELectrical Parade, but it would be fun to reuse for Parade of Dreams! I am too old to squat on a curb for two hours waiting!!!!
