Disney Visa Package Holders Info

Hi all! We found on the Disney Visa Package and others that contained priority seating for the Disneyland parade - we were given Fantasmic priority just for asking at City Hall! This is only good while the parade is dark and you don't get the desserts - but the seating is right next to that area and no camping out. Spring break crowds this weekend started camping for the 9pm sometime around 6 We were sooooo glad for this bonus.

I heard it was one of the hardest to get..We have a pretty high credit score...but..it doesn't hurt to try...the perks are pretty good..

I think OP means only if you book a package with the Disney Visa but I'm not sure.......I know that a CM let us sit there once when we walked up late, she said "I have some seats here if you want them" and led us over the roped area, they were good seats. Hmmm, something to maybe try.....

OK let us settle this. CMs at guest services may have allowed someone a privilege that is not available to regular cardholders or it it could be an unpublished perk that nobody knows about. I think that it is only with the package vacation and not something we can do daily.

When we booked through Visa...we did get preferred parade viewing...but that didn't include Fantasmic...that was only for parades...and..you could pick ONLY one parade.. one time....either once at ELP..or..the parade at DL...so...this is something different..I am going to be there in May..so..I might as well ask...

My interpretation of the OP is this: If the parade is dark and you are not able to take advantage of that perk, you can get seating for Fantasmic that does not include the desserts. (If you have booked a package that includes that perk in the first place)

That is correct wannagoback - while the parade is dark (until March 27th), if you purchased the Disney Visa package that came with the voucher for priority parade seating - you can exchange this voucher at City hall for Fantasmic seating.

It was my understanding that some of the AAA packages also came with this voucher from talking to other guests.

In short you must have the voucher and the parade must still be down.

That is good to know they do not advertise it ...but..the op did say she got it "just for asking" at city hall...I had never heard of this...when I called Visa..the customer service I spoke with wasn't too familiar with Disney perks..so..I learned very little that I didn't already know...

I'm not sure that it is a perk as much as it is "you received something that you can't use, so we'll give you this instead to make up for it."

Of course, it never hurts to ask... you never know what kind of goodies you might come across. If she hadn't said anthing, they wouldn't have known that they could do Fantasmic as a replacement option.

You are right about the word perk in this instance..I was generally speaking though..the customer service rep I talked with..didn't know a lot about Disney perks in general...
