Hi guys!

I am wondering what stores at WDW offer the discount to Disney Visa cardholders? This is all I could find online...

"10% Off Select Merchandise
Receive 10% off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations at Walt Disney World® Resort. You can enjoy this discount any time during normal Theme Park hours. Just use your valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards® Redemption Card and mention this offer. "

I found the restaurants that offer the discount, but I cannot find the merchandise locations!

Thanks! :flower3:

If I recall, it is essentially all Disney-owned retail outlets at WDW. So, all the stores in the parks will work. The gift shops in the value resorts are good. But there are many stores at DTD, Boardwalk, GF (as an example) that are not owned by Disney, and the discount isn't honored there. I don't have an actual list, unfortunately.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me!

It is in the fine print. The little 7 tells you which paragraph below to refer to---like footnotes.

Does anyone know if this works if you have your Disney Visa tied to your Magic Band? Can I just pay with my Magic Band and mention the discount and still get it, or do I actually need to give them my Visa?

We were there in December and even though our Visa was linked to our magic bands we had to show the physical card. This was in Mouse Gears. The CM said he was also supposed to check the drivers license (or some other identification) of the cardholder, which of course we did not have in the parks, but he gave us the discount anyway.

Nope. Card must be present just as it does when you go to the private Meet and Greet in Epcot.

Good to know. I will probably carry it regardless just because I'm the type of person to worry that the Magic Band won't work haha.

You need the physical card to get the discount. A few people have confirmed this about the store discount as well as the 10% off dining.
