I called WDW Travel today to ask if any offers were available for July 2014 (our trip was already booked).

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was an offer released today for Disney Visa Card members. It is called the Disney Visa Card Tiered Offer (for 6 nights plus), and you receive 30% - 35% off your package (resort, dining, parkhopper). As I understand it, this offer was just released to Disney Visa members today, but will be made available to the general public on Monday, March 17, 2014. There are limited rooms available for this offer.

I do not work for Disney or Visa, so there may be other caveats or additional details, but this is how it was described to me by the CM who helped me. I did save a substantial amount on my package through this offer. I hope this helps many of you as you plan your summer vacations! :goodvibes

Was it off the package total it just the room portion of the package? Never heard of it off the package total. With the FP+ chaos maybe they need to offer that. :)

Details are out on Mousesavers:

I called today to change my package because of this Disney Visa deal.

We were originally at Art of Animation, but with saving this much money, we were willing to switch to Pop Century.

The CM was so very pleasant and helpful and within a few minutes, we saved $400 on our 7 night vacation, WOW!!!

Can't even tell everyone how great this was.

I'm still confused about whether (when you do it as a package instead of room only) the discount is still off of room only or whether there is a discount on tickets and meal plan. Can someone who has actually called let us know? Thanks!

The percentage discount is on the room portion of the package. You get up to 30% off the rack rate if you stay 5 nights or less; up to 35% off if you stay 6 nights or more. The exact percent is determined by the resort that you choose.

There is no discount on the dining plans nor tickets with this offer.

It looks like the bonus day on tickets isn't actually part of this offer; that was based on some mistaken reports.

Sorry to have put bad info out there. :(

I sure wish there were a similar DL deal going on! We are staying on site for 7 nights this summer. An extra discount would be great!

I saw this offer on Friday and I called. I have 2 packages reserved for July 5-12. I ended up saving $200 per room. That is $400!!:cheer2: I was surprised that they offered a deal for July. We almost always go in the summer and don't usually get any discounts.

Now if July will hurry up and get here!

Now the general public version of this offer is up, and Disney's offer page says there's a ticket discount with purchase of 6-day or longer tickets. Still trying to find out what the discount is; if it's similar to the Spring package discount, it'll be a "free day", which works out to $10.65/ticket with tax. But so far no details.

Apologies if the original information I shared was incomplete or incorrect. The CM I spoke with indicated that I needed to have a room, dining plan, and park tickets to receive the Visa offer. I didn't question it, but she did go on to tell me that I received one day of free park tickets. I will have to go back and compare the line-items on the invoices to be sure.

I hope others have been able to save a little with this package!!
