Disney Visa meet & greet at Epcot

I know this runs from 1-4. Is it too risky to arrive around 3:30? We have ADR at Garden Grill for 6:35 and will already have been in Epcot all morning, but need to go back to the room for naps in the afternoon. I am hoping to re-arrive around 3:00 or 3:30, meet the characters, catch a couple of rides and then head to dinner for 6:35. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure that like most things at Disney, as long as you are in the line before the closing time, they will not turn you away.

I think as long as you are in line too that they will not turn you away but just be cautious that the line can take a very long time. But its very nice when its your turn.

The Disney Visa Character Meet & Greet is 1:30 - 4:30, so you should be there in plenty of time with your plan. Remember to allow time to pick up your free picture on your way out of the park - hopefully not right before closing because it can get pretty crowded then.

I would question wheither or not this will work. We had to try a couple of times over the course of a week. They will "close" the line. One day they did it at 2:30 at another it was 3. Every one in the line was allowed in, but no late comers.

The time we were there 20 minutes before the line opened, we were 2nd in line....by the time the meet and greet opened there were easily 15-20 families behind us. When we got in, we got 10 minutes to actually spend with the characters, so if you think that there are 10 families in line and they each get 10 minutes...that's 100 minutes. The interaction was fantastic!!! I will do it again in a heartbeat. But be aware...that it COULD be tight.
