Can anyone tell me what, where and when this is? We have a disney visa and I just read a trip report that someone did this. We are going mid November so I didn't know if it would still be going on then. Any info on this would be great!

I just got my bill today and it is in there so if you get your bill soon you'll have a hard copy but here it is.

Where: Innoventions West at the "Disney Magical Memories Club" (I have yet to see this but will in 12 days!)

When: Everyday from 1:30-4:30 est

What:"Exclusive Character Meet and Greet with Keepsake Photo" As I have not yet done this I don't know exactly what that means but from another post it sounds like there is 1-3 characters for you to meet and get your picture with.

Note: The statement that came in my bill said it is limited to the cardholder and 5 others and the cardholder must be present WITH their card (don't know why one wouldn't have it but oh well) :confused3

I can write more one I get back in the end of October, feel free to PM me to remind me as I may not be getting my trip reports up until Christmas Break from College. With any luck it will be before that but I don't know.

We went to the meet and greet last week at Epcot - It's at Innoventions West. You have to have your Disney Visa with you. You don't have to have anything else (the actual offer, etc). It's from 1:30-4:30. The characters may vary - we had Minnie and Donald Duck. We went at 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes. They take a couple different pics and then you can see them about 20 minutes later at the camera place (across from spaceship earth). You get one free 5x7. You can pick a border or icon. You have to pick up your pic that day - we almost forgot as we were leaving Epcot.

We just got back. There were 3 characters in there when we got in the room--I'm not going to spoil it though (plus it could always change). We had our PhotoPass card from earlier in our trip so they put the photos there. I think they took 4 photos. It was fun.

We did this too, about 2 weeks ago. We were the only ones there. I wasn't sure what to do, but they just started shooting pictures all over the place...it was like a fashion photo shoot...kind of embarassing, but lots of fun. We had a lot of characters there, but I assume that changes. They took about 20 pictures, and we got to choose 1 for free.

If you have two different disney visa cards and you bring both can you get two pictures.

We did this in August. Nobody else was there and we went right in. The CMS were really great. Mickey and Pluto were there for us. Great pictures, they took about 4 of them and we picked out the best one for our free 5X7. Great experience.

Have Fun!!

The info I got in my last bill said that this "offer" was set to end on September 30th. From posts here, it sounds like it's still going on, but does anyone have info as to how long they'll keep it going for? We'll be there from 10/14-22, so I'm hoping it's still available then!

I just read the slip they put in my bill about it and it is Sept. 30 of 2006 so we still have almost a full year to do it. I may get to do it twice!! but don't worry you'll have plenty of time.

We just took advantage of this on Oct. 3. We nearly forgot about it, but remembered around 4 pm. We had to wait just a few minutes. We had Minnie and Donald, and I think they took 3 photos for us, and put them on a Photopass. We had to go to the photo place across from Spaceship Earth by 10 p.m. same day. We were able to pick out one 5x7 for free.

All we needed to do was show our Disney Visa...we didn't need any other information. It was a great souvie!!

OMG, I am so DENSE -- I can't believe I didn't notice the YEAR!! Hooray, it will still be going on when I go next week!! :cool1:

Wow........I didn't know that they did this!! I haven't received my first bill yet (should be here any day) but looking foward to doing it in December!
Thanks!!

Just returned from 2 week trip & tried this 3 times.

1st time 9/28 was about 15 minute wait & all the pictures were great - 2 characters.
2nd time 9/29, the wait was so long that the CM wouldn't even let us wait there, said to return in 20 minutes to check if things quieted down. She said she had never seen so many people there before. We had an ADR, so didn't return.
3rd time 10/4, wait was about 20 minutes - 3 characters, but the photographer was terrible. There wasn't a single picture that turned out - we had 5 in our group that day & in each picture someone wasn't shown & he never said anything about moving so he could see everyone. The CM at the camera shop said she'd never seen a set so bad before & offered to send us back to try again, but we didn't have time.

I agree.. I think we waited maybe 30 minutes... long long wait times.. tons of people are doing this now! I say go early!

YEAH!!!!! Thanks SOOO much for the info. I am going out there on the 27th, so I will try and remember to go get my free picture!!!!

I did it early on Sept. 29th. Had to wait about 15 minutes, but it was worth it! I love the picture!

We had about a 15/20 minute wait but worth it because I want a free photo. We had Mickey and Pluto. And they do check for your card so remember to bring it.
