Disney Visa hotel discount for Fall

Did anyone else get an email about this last week?

I'm wondering if it will be made available to the public because I would love to double up on discounts with Orbitz (I have a 20% off room at PPH right now through Orbitz). I thought pretty much all the Disney Visa offers I'd received in the past were released to Visa holders first as a preview then to the public a few days later. Is this just going to be for card holders?

It's been on the Visa site for a week at least and no mention of it for APs that I have heard (we have both) so I think it might be a Visa exclusive. The bummer for us is it starts right after we return from our next trip.

I got the email announcing the Visa discount last week. I mentioned it in the Disneyland at Christmas/Holiday Season Superthread and in another thread about December discounts.


I expect that Disney Destinations will release its own discount at some point, to the general public, and AP holders will probably have their own version of the discount. In other words, I don't think this Disney Visa discount will extend to non-Visa card holders, but separate discounts for the general public and for AP holders will probably come along before the end of this month or early October. I think that this discount was just a special offer for Disney Visa/Chase customers only.
