Disney Visa Gift Card offer for DL Hotel Stays

Just saw this offer at the Disney Rewards web site: http://disneyrewards.disney.go.com/offers/dlrgiftcardmay10.html

For stays of 2 nights or more through the end of September, you get a $100 gift card at PP, $150 gift card at DLH, and $200 gift card at GC.

I currently have booked 4 nights at the DLH with the summer rate deal. Would I be able to add this deal to my current reservation if I give them the offer code? Is it worth a phone call to try?? That would be wonderful!! TIA!!

I doubt it. I got the same offer I think, and the fine print says something like good when you book 2 or more nights at regular rates, not combinable with other discounts, blah, blah, blah.

I did some comparisons, and for a 2 night stay at DLH, it would have saved me $25. DLH offers 35% off with summer special. But PPH only offers 30% off, so there was no savings there.

But if I was staying 4 nights, I would consider adding the 5th, because it will price out to the same as the 4

We needed 3 or 4 nights but could not stay 5, so anyhow we ended up booking at BWPP for 4 nights for $200 less than 3 nights at Disney Properties. We are sacrificing location for that extra day, but I think it will be worth it.

Lots of fine print on this deal. It says the 0% financing doesn't apply. That's one of the things I like about using the card for my Disney vacations.

Just an FYI, I was getting concerned about the construction over at DLH (where we were booked for 4 nights in Sept) so when I got this offer, I thought it would be worth a call to see the price difference to upgrade to GCH. I just changed my reservation today! Instead of DLH, we will be stayed 4 nights at the GCH (with a premium theme park view!), getting the $200 gift card at check in, and overall (w/ the gift card) its only costing me about $100 more!!! I'm so thrilled and cannot wait to stay at GCH!!!!! I'm so glad I made the phone call! Didn't think I would be able to get the gift card since I already had made a reservation!

LIke for 2 nights in August its $528 plus tax for the summer deal? Wouldi you be able to receive the gift card as well?

I believe so! When I called, they quoted me the same price that I myself got when figuring it out online using the summer deal! Plus the gift card! I was really surprised! It's worth a phone call to try! Hope you get some pixie dust too!

thx ...we have never stayed at the gch, only the DLH. With the 200$ gift card, i might be able to talk the boyfriend into reserving two nights at the GCH lol...
