Disney VISA free dining code QXZ

OMG! I just got an email that my TA is out of the office till the 26th!
I'm going through AAA - Can someone else do this for me??? I don't want my reservations to get screwed up ...
Help!:sad1: :sad2:

Subscribing! Booked AAA standard room at WL Dec 13-19th. Still may be a good deal to book the package. I'll just run the #'s again.

I just got off the phone with reservations and the pin code that I received would actually make me pay $100 more!!! =( And since I was on the phone with them already, I tried using the QXZ code for Disney Visa free dining and she did not know anything about it yet and said it was invalid..... so I am definitely trying back tomorrow about that code! However, can't you just figure out through the Disney web site how much your package will cost without the dining? I used the QXD code when it came out and saved over $500 but I think I will only save $12 using the QXZ Visa code, staying at CSR.... how did you save over $1500 Princess Tiffany??!!!! Is it because you are staying at a deluxe? Oh wait, it's probably because there are more people in your party going!! =)

The exact amount it is saving us is $1,638.00 and we have two rooms booked at Pop Century.

We are staying for 9 nights - December 13 - 22. We have 4 children and we are also taking my MIL. One of our children is over 10 so we have 4 Disney Adults going and 3 children for a total of 7 people. The cost of the dinining plan for the 7 of us for 9 nights is $1,638.00. With the free dining code applied to our package, that is where the savings comes from.

Princess Tiffany- Will you be able to get the discount for your first night, Dec 13? In the list of dates for the code, it says Dec 14-20. We're staying Dec 13-18, I'm hoping it's possible to get the discount for our entire stay. :yay:

If not, will we need to book our first night at rack rate and get the discount on the other nights?:confused3

Thanks for any info you can provide and congrats on your fantastic savings!!!:dance3:

Princess Tiffany:

May I ask you a question? Was your original reservation booked using a code? In other words, were you getting a discount on your two rooms at Pop Century. If so, won't the cost of your two rooms go up to rack rate if you take the Free Dining deal, reducing the savings?

Thanks.

This would be great for us, if we can find availability at CR, yet again. This would save us another $16 a night plus tax over what the GA resident room only code has provided. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

That is what I was thinking - well not about Princess Tiffany's reservation, but about mine. lol
I have worked out the numbers though, and even though my room rate might or will go up, we'll still see a better savings by using the free dining code. I guess it just depends on each person's situation, resort they're booked at, number of people, etc.

The Disney Visa Code will be great for us at CR, if we can get it and there are just 2 of us, both adults. The GA Resident Room only code is $210/night, which is $60 a night off of rack. With two adults on the DDP, the cost is $75.98/night. So, we would be paying rack rate on the room, but saving an additional $15.98 a night over what the room only code would have discounted us. That's another $80 plus tax of savings!

My MIL will be traveling with us. She has her own room and the FD code would not be a deal for her at all. She is saving more with AAA and the FL resident rate than what FD would cover. Plus, she eats like a bird, so the DDP would be a complete waste anyway.

Not everyone is going to find this to be a great deal, but a whole lot of people will.

So much for a quiet 3rd week in December. :sad2:

Folks - Remember that this new code implies RACK RATE hotel nights. Also, availability will be EXTREMLY low, as way too many pin codes have been released in the last month with the exact same dates and offers.

For those that booked with the GA code back then, you WILL save money if you had already opted for a dining plan back then. The reason is that the per night savings before was only on the hotel rate (about $50 for values and mods), which is much less than what the DP would cost. Your savigns should be that difference.

However, note that for those going in October you are already inside our 45 days. If you would want to apply this code and already had DP on your package, your total will be lower, but you'll be subject to the $50 change fee. If you did not have the DP on the package, your package price will go up, so no change fee should apply.

I'm going in the 1st week in Nov, so I can't take advantage of this offer (unless they published one thing and in the computer they have something else - what happened with the GA code in late Dec. for example).

My .02...

Since we are booked for the 13-19th at WL AAA room only I wonder if we switched if we would have to do 2 seperate reservations? one for the 13 and one for the 14-19th? That would make us not be able to go to the parks on the 13th as we would have to buy a 1 day ticket and of course we would not do that. Also, we currently have standard booked and those are full so we would have to move up to woods or courtyard which would be more. I guess the only way it would work for us is if they will let us use the code beginning the 13th.

7:00 AM tomorrow ... VISA code released to Disney visa users. WDW reservations just got an email about it.

The code will only apply to dates 12/14 to 12/19 of your vacation, if there is any availability. You would have to change your ressie on the 13th to a one night deal and then drop another deposit for the FD package from the 14th to the 19th.

My MIL is a great example of multiple ressies. She has 3 right now. One for 12/10 at the FL resident rate, one for 12/11 to 12/14 at the AAA rate, and one for 12/14 to 12/19 at the FL resident rate. All 3 have a separate deposit attached.

With the new GA resident code dropping last night, I was able to keep the AAA rate on our 12/10 to 12/14 nights and from 12/14 to 12/19, I was able to book the GA resident rate, but I did have to put down another deposit for that ressie too.

Good luck!

Guess that is the downside of using a travel agent. I am sure she won't be in at 7am. and since my ressie is with her, I guess I can't call to apply the code :(

SO I am assuming no one has been able to get this Disney Visa Free Dining yet?? What is the news that it will be released to the public tomorrow then??

Do they know if you have a disney visa when you call or is the only requirement to pay for it with a disney visa? Just curious.
