Disney Visa Discounts Question

i spent a couple of weeks a year in FL visiting family so am an annual pass holder to WDW. I enjoy the annual pass holder discounts of 10-20% off in many on property stores and restaurants.

I also usually take several guided tours each year, which I know has both annual pass and Disney Visa discounts available.

If I got and used a Disney Visa credit card, are any discounts they have available combinable with the annual pass discount or is it one or the other?

If no, are there any compelling reasons it's still worth getting the credit card? I never stay in resorts on property so don't book packages.

Thanks!

Not combineable, sorry.

You can get free picture downloads at specific meet and greets

You're welcome! The only reason I see getting a Disney visa would be to take advantage of the $200 gift card with $500 purchase in three months, for the free card.

I agree. The card doesn't really offer enough benefits otherwise IMO. I do have the basic card for the free photo at Epcot, but to pay $49/year for the Premium card and only get 2% back on certain categories... There are better cards out there.

If you don't typically book packages or stay on site it may not be. You do get 10% off 50 or more at the Disney store and Disney store online, free picture download (and an exclusive meet and greet), access to a special lounge in Epcot, and occasionally you get early access to certain sales, but they're usually for packages or hotels. Since we usually book a package it's worth it for us, but if you don't it sort of depends on what other benefits you'll use

I have the Disney Visa. I had it when I had an AP to DLR. I rarely used it for the exclusive meet and greets or free pictures. My AP discount (20%) was better than the Disney Visa discount.

However, now that I don't have the AP, I might be inclined to get the free pix, lol

Actually any Chase card will get you access to the Chase lounge.

In the years I have an AP, then the VISA is little benefit. In the years I don't, I use it for discounts.

But I'll admit my favorite benefit is actually the meet and greet. Short lines and more than one character at the same time. I love when the characters can interact with each other and us!
