Disney Visa Discounts and PINS/ CODES

My wife and I have a Disney Visa and I was wondering about the communication of discounts to Disney Visa holders.

I have called several times about PINS without any luck, other than them pushing the Stay/Play/ Dine deal.

The Stay/ Play/ Dine deal is good, but it isn't as good as the Free Dining promotion.

Does anyone know if the Free Dining will be pushed out to Disney Visa holders? Additionally, if anyone has gotten (or gets) a notification, can you post it here?

I'd really like to get the Free Dining for our upcoming trip, and am running out of options. The last Cast Member I spoke to about a Disney PIN told me they weren't sending any more out. (I called this morning 10/15).

Visa card holders don't get special promotions, but they get early access to the public promotions. FD will be via pin. I'd book SPD or the RO discount now to make sure you at least get something. FD is very unlikely to come out for the pubic and being a DV holder won't get it for you if it doesn't. This fall DV holders didn't even get early access to it.

Normally the DV promotions and early access dates are posted here first. Sometimes people get emails and the DV website is usually updated at some point.

We will book our trip with the S/P/D plan for now. Frustrating. My parents and in-laws both got a FD pin by calling. We didn't.

On one hand, I don't want to get hung up on saving a couple hundred dollars, but on the other hand it is a couple hundred dollars.

Are you going the same time your parents or in-laws are? If so, you can use their PIN.

In the past, promotions first went out via bounce backs, then via PINs, then DV holders and soon after general public.

But with the proliferation of social media, many more people have an idea what is coming and hence make plans accordingly. So reservations are being made (even though they actually do more harm than good in certain cases)

The pattern pretty much stayed the same, except that Disney has been adding other promotions at the last minute via PINs in order to actually fill the resorts.

For example, in Jan-Feb, typically there hasn't been any FD offers. This time, they went ahead with the S/P/D offer. However, they have also send out a batch of PINs for FD.

So could this mean that they'll push out FD at the last minute to the GP? Doubt it, but those that didn't take up the offer of S/P/D with the original PIN or the GP offer, maybe they'll change their minds with FD.

I don't know why that cm said there not sending out any pin codes. I got one a couple of weeks ago for free dining Jan 3rd to Mar 5th

I am a DV holder too.

Could I still get a free dining PIN?
Or will they not send PIN since I am already booked?
SPD doesn't seem like it saved a lot.

We decided to book with the S/P/D promo. All good, but now we are hoping to get the F/D discount if possible.

I think we should still be able to switch it up if the promotion avails itself.
