Disney Visa/Dining Plan

So, I got the brochure to get 5x rewards using our Disney Visa. You get 5x rewards on dining, gas, groceries, airline tickets. Does anyone know if you get 5x rewards if I use the card to pay for the dining plan. (I am adding it to our package tomorrow)

I believe its for everything purchased using the Disney card, but not positive.

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get that offer soon too.... I know we had gotten something last October, but hadn't made plans to go to Disney yet at that point, so didn't pay any attention to it.

Hopefully they send it to me again soon (or at least by October again, cause my trip needs to be paid by mid-late october)

What is this 5X rewards thing?!? I have been using my card for everything and would LOVE to get this.. any tricks?

I believe that was for purchases from Jan 31 - March 31 with the Disney Visa, and you had to sign up for it. I called Disney Visa to inquire and she said she had to sign me up for it.

The offer I got was for dining, gas, airline, grocery purchase made between April 1 and June 30. There was a code on the postcard I had to enter on my account to activate it. I would call customer service and see if you can get it...???

I found out last time it was not for every one. Selected people picked by the marketing dept. I'm going to call again though.

Are the people that are getting the offers light users of the card? I use mine pretty regularly and have bills paid on it.

No Dice on the promotion for me. I had a very nice person on the phone though. She said she was an account supervisor.

Make sure you read the fine print on your offers. We received an offer for 5x rewards, but it only applied to relevant purchases that exceeded $500 in a given month. Don't know if ours was different from others, but make sure you know whether there are similar restrictions on your offer.

Our fine print reads"...5x rewards after reaching $250 in a billing cycle" Interesting to see the different offers out there.
I guess I will just wait and check my statement to see if we get rewards points for the dining plan. Thanks for your input!
