How do you get the DVC Member status put on the card? Not that I need to do it, but it sounds like a cute little thing to add.

I actually have four different cards - Mickey and Friends, Tink, Toy Story, and Finding Nemo. I rotate using them and usually carry at least 2 with me, depending on my mood. They expire in 3 months, so I'll be reordering all of my favorites. I find that I get the most comments on my Nemo card. I only have had 1 or 2 people ask about the DVC member status on the bottom.

I just called the 800 number on the card to ask and a customer service rep said we should have new cards in a few weeks.

DH & I both have the castle. DH was a little put off at first having such a "girly" card in his wallet. But our daughters love it & know that every use is going towards our next vacation, so their reaction has moderated his!

We use the card with "Mickey and friends". They say "Charter Cardmember" under our names. My DH loves to ask people if they take Mickey Mouse Money as payment before he hands them the card. We use ours for everything and love the rewards.

I have the original design, red with mickey head outline. It also says, "Member since DAY 1".

Me, too. And I've kept the original design ever since because I received soooo many compliments on the card and how pretty it was. I really like this design.

Just know that it may take a few attempts... we have had this done 3x and they STILL don't have DVC member on them.

I have the Castle bc I'm a princess. DH has one of the Mickey ones bc its Disney without being too childish when he uses it for work.

Your DH sounds just like mine. When I first got that card I had the Tinkerbell one and DH didn't want to carry around a "Fairy" so he wanted the Mickey and Friends. Then they came out with the Castle one that I switched to (and still have BTW) and DH liked that equally as much so he too has that one, however I have yet to see him use his card. Usually it is I that is pulling out the card to pay .

The castle with the yellow background. Ours are about to expire and they don't have that design any more, as far as I can see.

Mine recently expired, and I didn't like any of the new ones better than my old Bambi one -- so I didn't do anything about choosing a new one. I was delighted when the new one showed up with my same ol' Bambi design!

I have three cards for the same account; Nemo, Castle, and the original red Mickey head. I use which every one I get a hold of first. Nemo gets the most positive comments, by far.

I had the Vintage Mickey one but finally called to get my last name changed seeing as we've been married for almost a year. This time, I got the castle one! I like it b/c it makes me smile just seeing that castle knowing that my next trip is just a few months away! DH has the toy story one. He said it was the most 'manly'.

DH and I have Mickey and Friends on our cards and are Charter Members.
MIL has Nemo and is a Charter Member.
BIL has Nemo and just got his last year.

When we took my FIL to WDW for his last visit before his passing due to Cancer....DH and his brother (BIL above) used "Nemo" as the code word for their father. So BIL would call DH on his cell and say " Nemo has left the reef, I repeat, Nemo has left the reef"....so DH would walk up to the park gate and help BIL get FIL navigated through the park on his ECV...like they were his secret service. So Nemo has a special place in our hearts and each time we see their card we remember that trip and my FIL.

We love the rewards and already have about $60 towards our next trip.

Another funny thing is we have a small DIS group here on the Gulf Coast and we meet every couple of months for dinner and Disney talk. When we line up to pay....the clerk always asks, " Do all of you have these Disney CCs?"....well, "yeah".
