Disney Visa code notification

I have a Disney Visa and didn't hear about the new codes until I read them here. I looked in the flyers that they send with my statement, nothing there. I checked on the Visa web site, nothing there either. No e-mails either. How did they get the word out? We are not going until next year so it doesn't effect my booking, but from what I understand the rooms are selling out and I would have been upset if I missed the deal!

I learned about the codes on the Mousesavers newsletter, called today and got through with hardly any wait. Asked if I could apply the code to my already booked package and they said yes. Of course no rooms available at CR but there were rooms at the WL. Saved over $1000 for a one week stay!!

So you had to switch resorts? We have a package thru AAA at POFQ and would hate to lose it. Would they apply a discount to an already booked room?

I was not notified of it either- read about it on mousesavers. I saved $400 (50% off the room) or could have upgraded for the same price that I was saving. I would have been soooooo mad if it had passed me by!

I saw it here first. Disney Visa also did send me an email. I make payments for my credit card online and they have my email address for that. Maybe that is why I got an email?

Yes, we switched resorts only because there was nothing available at the Contemporary except for in the tower and that would have cost me even more $$ even with the discount. We have always wanted to stay at the Wilderness so the CM checked that one and when he told me the savings I couldn't believe it. When I called I said that I already had a package booked and wanted to know if I could apply the code to the already booked package so I would at least try.
