Does anyone have information on the Disney Visa Character Meet in Epcot? Thank you.

We did it in October - very nice pictures. It was in Innoventions, the one to the right if you're entering the park. Ask one of the CMs when you enter the building, they'll point you to the area, but it's in the back corner. We just got in line, they checked to see our Disney Visa (you do have to have it with you), then when it was our turn, we went behind the curtain. They took about 10-12 pictures of our family, the kids played around with the characters, and then when we were leaving the park, we stopped by the Camera Shop (right by Spaceship Earth), gave them our voucher (they'll give you one when you get the pictures done), picked out the picture that I wanted, and that was it. Very easy!

It varies - when we were there, it was Mickey and Pluto

Is this only offered at EPCOT? We will be at MK only for one day. Any luck there, too?

I believe Epcot is the only place.

I had a 3 year old and a 10 year old. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy to ourselves for at least 5 minutes. They took at least 15 pictures. At the end of the trip we ask both girls at different times what there favorite part of the trip was. Both girls said the meet and greet. The 10 year old said having them to herself. The 3 year old said playing on the floor with goofy. We went on October 30th.

We just did it two weeks ago. They have the photo meet and greet in the afternoon. Mickey and Pluto were there. Boy, oh, boy, do they ham it up. Mickey was so nice, hugs and kisses all around. Pluto greeted us too and he was a lot of fun. Make sure you have your Disney Visa card ready for the CM. You have to go to Innoventions West which is on the right side of Spaceship Earth. It was really cool.

Has anyone tried this with more than 6 people? There are 8 in our group, and I wonder if they'd let a couple of extra people in, just to stand to one side and watch the kids interact with the characters.

What characters were there?

I was there in October and we had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. Great character interaction and we were 4 adults acting like children! :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:

We had our picture done last Saturday. Waited in line about 15 minutes. The characters didn't spend much time with the kids, but I guess it was because there were several other families in line behind us. The characters there were Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Make sure you have your Disney Visa card with you- they asked for it before we had our picture made and when we picked up our free picture.

tlbwriter - we had 7 in our group in october and no one said a thing - we had 3 card holders in the group and they even let us break up into smaller groups for pictures in addition to a pic of everyone together ! - this was a great perk ! :smooth:

When we went we started out with Mickey and Pluto. We played with them for a while and as we were leaving Minnie and Goofy came out. They wanted to play as well so we stayed a little longer and had time with them. It wasn't busy when we went and we had a great time.

The older threads posted above mentioned that they may be changing the way sign in. Did you fill out a voucher or just show your Visa card at the Camera shop? Thanks! :flower:

At the camera shop, I had to show them my Visa card and write down my name, address, phone number, and last 4 digits of my Visa card number on a sheet of paper for the CM.
