Hi all
Just wondering if anyone out there has a Disney Visa card ? I know it is a US card - is it possible to get one with a Cdn. address ?? ?:confused3
Would love to build up some Disney 'credit', hehehe:rotfl:

I wondered the same thing. It seems to me that I read somewhere you have to be in the US.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

No, I believe you are correct, you need a U.S> address for a Disney Rewads card.

i am from canada and sent them a email.
This was there reply

Thank you for your correspondence regarding the geographic limitations of the Disney Rewards Visa Card from Chase. We appreciate that you have taken the time to inquire about this situation.

Chase is not chartered to do business outside the United States and its territories and therefore cannot legally accept a credit card application from a non-U.S. resident. Because a Country or a province must charter banks in order to do business with its residents, Chase cannot violate these laws by accepting the residents' applications. Disney is considering developing an alliance with banks in Canada and the UK and possibly other countries, but must find a bank that is an appropriate partner and is willing to develop a card with a value proposition comparable to what we have in the U.S. This is a time consuming process and it will be a while before we are ready to announce such a partnership.

We appreciate your interest in Disney. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,

Disney Rewards Guest Service
hope this helps everyone

Chase definitely operates in Canada ... I have had one of their Cards with Sears.

The fact is that this is a "U.S.-issued cards only" because Disney has chosen this to be so.
"Disney Rewards Visa Card available to U.S. residents only, 18 and older (except in Alabama and Nebraska – age 19 and older), and subject to credit approval. Restrictions and limitations apply. Disney Rewards Visa Card is issued by Chase Bank USA, N.A."

We live in Canada and have a chase account in the states. We actually had a Disney visa debit card and recieved all the perks except for bieng able to charge a ( no interest no payments deal) but we recieved a letter that due to new banking rules from the US government they have to stop that program.

A year later and were still waiting for a Canadian Disney card.....
