Am I wrong, or didn't we used to get a discount using the Disney Visa Card at shops and eateries in the parks?

Well...you get a 10% discount at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney, I don't know of any other shop or restaurant discount though...anyone else?

We were in Disney Thanksgiving week and I used my Disney Visa in World Of Disney in Downtown Disney and got the 10% discount. When I used it in the park stores I asked and they said only in World of Disney do you get the discount. Hope this helps.

I think you are wrong. I've been a cardholder since the first year it existed and I don't ever remember getting anything like that besides the WoD store. There are always other discounts, but nothing that blanketed the parks. But my memory is suspect to say the least

Maybe you're thinking of a Disneyland perk? When I used my Disney Visa there I kept getting surprised with extra discounts, both on food and merchandise.

Maybe that was it...I was sure that I used to get a discount at some of the food locations...

In the days before the Disney Visa when there was some sort of Disney club there were a lot more discounts.

You definitely get the AP discount as a Disney Visa cardholder at the Disneyland parks when making a $50 or more purchase. I am not so sure about WDW.

Oh maybe that was it...I was a member of that Disney club..in fact I still have the brochure for it somewhere...
