Disney VISA bucks...how long before the expiration date?

I will be redeeming some Disney VISA bucks from my credit card for my trip in August. I know there is an expiration.....how long have people been seeing when their's are redeemed?

I'm wondering, because if I get my gift card in July and don't use it all, how long after my trip will I have to spend it? We don't shop at the Disney Store much anymore, so I would be using it at Disneyland.

Any help is appreciated.

I believe there is an expiration date on the card itself, and I think it is two years from issue. The nice folks at BankOne can probably answer this one for you, as they are very knowledgable and well trained. We rarely have trouble using ours up; one character meal for the four of us and we're done.

I got my Disney rewards card in January and it expires 12/04. Not sure how they figure the expiration date though.

Once you request the rewards, how long does it take? Also, how do you request the rewards?
