Disney Visa AP Payments Not receiving 2%

Hello! Hope this is the correct forum. I have a Disney Visa Premier and I am a FL resident, so I am taking advantage of the monthly payment program for my Annual Passes. I noticed that the payments are being categorized as Shopping instead of Disney and therefore I am getting 1% back instead of 2%, has anyone else noticed that? I wanted to call Chase but right now it appears that the wait times are very long, so I thought I would check here first. Why would not be considered Disney? Thank you for your help!

No help with categorizing, but have gou actually waited on hold for help or are you just trusting the automated "longer than normal waits" or "your wait time is approximately 1,200 minutes"?

Try calling when you can spare a few minute. Opt to hold for an agent. I'm finding it's typically (NOT always) much shorter. Maybe five minutes.

Have you seen the statement and done the math to see if you got the 2%? Your post made me curious so I went back to a statement that I was at Disneyland during and I looked at my park shopping purchases. They were coded shopping, but I got the 2%.

I have been on the payment plan for awhile and have always gotten the 2%. Look online and find the charge for this current billing cycle (not the statement) and then click on it to expand the window. It will show you how much you earned for the charge. It does code as shopping, I think, but will show 2%.

It is easier to get a credit card that gives 2% rebates on all catagories.

The categories feed directly into your year-end summary, which is designed to help with taxes. "Disney" is not a category. Depending on the "Disney" purchase, I believe it may show under the Shopping, Entertainment or Travel categories. As PP mentioned above, click on the line-item charge and it will show you the rewards earned. Should be 2%.
