Disney Visa and Gift Card

We need for disney in 10 days and i currently have my disney visa card on the room. since everything is magic bands now . when i charge to my room do i still get the discount on some dining and merchandise and if we pay the charges with gift cards to the discount get taken out?

I am pretty sure you need to physically show and use the Visa for any discount. The discount is to encourage you to use their credit card; so giving the discount to someone paying with a gift card has no benefit to Chase.

You must present and pay with the card. If you are a premier card holder, than anything charged to room and paid with the Visa gets you 2%. No discounts for paying with gift cards.

I wasn't even able to get my 10% off when trying to pay with my DV rewards redemption card. You have to use the actual Visa.

Your correct ! We use the rewards money to pay for tips during our free dining that way we don't loose the discount on items we want !
