Disney Visa $50 drink credit

So I was just told that I am not eligible for the $50 onboard drink credit cause, I have the onboard booking credits. Does this sound correct?

You cannot stack discounts so if you are using an onboard booking discount, you cannot get the Disney Visa OBC.
