Did anyone else check out theirs? I got the email a week ago but just printed it today... I'm amazed at how much I put on that card in a year! Granted I pay it every month so not a penny was interest, but they break it down into different categories to let you see how much you spend and where. I already knew I spent $200 a month in gas, but I wasn't aware our "eating out" cost almost $1,600 a year! Really interesting stuff. Anything that shocked you about yours?

I reviewed mine last week. It was amazing to see how much money I had spent for the year and on what. Its helpful because I intend to use it to cut back on my spending, especially traveling.

I just looked at our year end statement. Oh my goodness. We spent an absolutely insane amount of money! We do charge our cell phones, cable, and home insurance to our card so that's part of the reason why it was so high, but still! And I don't even want to add what we spent on our Discover card as well to the totals!

I refuse to open it :lmao: seriously, I won't!

No interest paid, so I figure...nope, not going there :lmao::lmao:

If you don't mind me asking, how many Disney dollars did you all earn? I'm sorry for being nosy. Last month I started using my Disney Visa and was curious to see how many points I will rack up!
:thanks:

I was shocked by the amount that we spent on textbooks for two college students. And that was with them buying almost all of them used. I'll trade my textbook bill for your "eating out" bill! :rotfl:

How about $8,000 on vet bills. I'll trade the eating out and the college books:laughing:. I wasn't surprised by it I expected something like that.

Oh yeah, the dining out portion doesn't look high until you consider it's just 2 of us and the places we eat are not at all fine dining! lol! I'm talking Moes, TGIFridays, Starbucks... :P

We had over $1000 to pet meds, vet bills and food (which of course is not it's own category but is easier to read with the info they give) and about $150 in shipping costs at Christmastime. :(

Let's just say, thousands of dollars on a card do add up ;) I do not even recall the % you get, but I'm sure someone will clarify for you to figure it out (just estimate how much you'll use it each month and wah la, you'll have a good idea) ;)

Wow I just checked mine...it's weird to see all your purchases laid out like that and seeing exactly how much you spend in a year! :scared1:

You get 1% back.

I think the eating out is normal amount for 2 people. Here is also just DH and I our eating out is about the same and last year he was deployed for most of the year :scared1:. I pay our pets medicine with another card and their food I am afraid to open that statement to total it I am guessing at least another $2500. I went told my DH the amount he said is ok they are worth it .

I didn't get anything on my statement that broke down the expenses, was this on January's stmt or Febuary?

If you go to the webpage that lists all your statements and go to the very bottom, it should be down there. I missed it at first too.
