Disney Visa $200 Reward Offer

I recently got the card with the $200 rewards offer.

I am hoping to use the rewards for park tickets in early November, but according to the credit card company, it will take "6-8 weeks to post the rewards to your account." So, then I have to wait till that happens and somehow use the rewards to buy the tickets (2 or 3 out of 5 tickets...we're just going for one day).

I don't know what the process is to get the card...I think we have to call and request the card after it appears on our statement...then I wonder how long til I get the card....does anyone know?

I believe (its been awhile since I did this) once the awards hit your statement you can go to guest services in downtown Disney and they can transfer your rewards to a gift card. I think I then had to take my gift card back to my room and call the 800# to activate it. But I definitely got it down in Disney cause I didn't have time to get it before I left.

How can we get the 200 offer ...
I have been waiting and waiting but can seam to get one (use to years ago but nothing lately.)

Are you getting the offer with your Visa statement?

So the offer appeared on your Disney Visa statement ...

I think the card she is referring to here is the Disney Reward card, not the actual credit card.

This is true. We have also gotten the rewards card at Guest Services... Once at MK and once in Epcot. We picked up the card and called the number right there on our cells. A few minutes later our cards were loaded with the rewards points.
