I don't receive any Disney credit card promotions in the mail but I've been reading that people have been getting the promotion in the mail that if you sign up, you get a $200 gift card. How can I get them to mail me this offer or am I able just to call and request it?

Also, I've been wondering if anyone has any ideas on which is better the Disney card or mileage cards. I'm leaning towards miles because it seems to be a better benefit than the Disney card and I would just use the Disney card for the meet n greet and the other benefits specific to the card but charge everything else and earn miles. What are other people's thoughts on this? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

I just got the Disney Visa a couple weeks ago (yay!) and the $200 Disney Reward Dollars (double-yay!). They probably got my name because I had them send me the free WDW Vacation Planning Guide and also I booked a WDW vacation through Small World Vacations. It was after that when the offer came...too bad, because I'dve had more $$ on the card!

I bet it wouldn't hurt to call and ask for it!

I've never heard of the mileage card...is that a Disney card too? Is it for flight miles? Can't weigh in on that, but I do feel that it's going to take a looong time to get many Disney Dollars, so I don't know how great of a value it is. I just wanted it because my other card offered no incentives at all...lame. Also I don't care about the APR because I pay it in full each month, but you may like it if it's a lower rate.

There is no annual fee on this card and that was a big selling point for me. Southwest has been trying to get me to have their card, but it comes with a $70-ish annual fee...ridiculous! Plus, I occasionally fly for work so a mileage card was not such an issue (we got one free round-trip flight and one free one-way flight that way to use for our Orlando trip...sweet!)

There were a couple cool perks to the Disney Visa, like a free character meet-n'-greet at Epcot with a free 5x7 photo, which you can do once a day. Also 10% discounts on merchandise and they said periodically there are other offers they'll send which you can take advantage of. I guess the value depends on what other cards you currently have and what their rewards, fees and APRs are.
