Any know anything about this offer? DH is willing to sign up to get this card for the $200 gift card, but we can't get a clear answer on where the $200 can be used? I'm assuming it will work at any gift shop in the parks or resorts. But what about Downtown Disney? Does it work everywhere there? How about T-Rex? Thanks for the help!!!

We took advantage of this offer and received $200 in Disney Reward dollars, which we used to purchase a Disney gift card through Disneyland.com.
So the gift card can be used at any of the parks, Disney store, etc.
We did use our gift cards at DTD stores, I do not know about the Trex restaurant.

We have the Disney CC. I've used it several times. Basically what happens is you get Disney Dollars credited to your account. You go online or call in and order a gift card sent to you. This card has a regular type Visa CC number and a magnetic strip on the back. The rules state that it is only supposed to be used for Disney merchandise and in Disney stores. However, my understanding is you could use it at WalMart to buy Disney stuff or at the theater to see a Disney movie. How it knows the difference between a Disney doll and a Barbie, I don't know. We've used our Disney Dollars all over the resorts and online with no problems, DTD included. As for the Trex, I couldn't say, but if you can't find a way to spend $200 at Disney, you need more help than I can provide.:goodvibes

The rewards dollars are accepted at almost all places run by Disney. Many of the Downtown Disney merchants are not Disney-owned so they don't take the reward card for payment. T-Rex is owned and run by Landry's.

I can't find teh $200 offer. When I looked this morning it was only a $15 gift card offer

And I have a stupid question because I am not familiar with many credit cards....but is this like a regular visa cc? You can use it anywhere on anything and then it just "rewards" you disney dollars when you spend so much? Is that how it works? :confused3

I've considered getting this card to help pay for our Disney trip this June!

Yes, they run specials so don't settle for a $15 or $50 incentive.

It's a regular Visa, through Chase. You get 1% back on all your purchases. You can see your tally on-line or on your monthly statement. When you're ready to redeem it, simply call or go on-line and they will send you a rewards card or credit a rewards card you currently have.

I thought I heard they were discontinuing the debit card program? But I could very easily be wrong.

Yes they did away with the reward debit cards, I called Customer Service and they stated that all rewards debit card users will be transitioned out June and July.

Chase has been really good about honoring "better" offers. Don't know if it will stay that way thoug.
