Hi
So pleased to have found this site.
We've (2 adults, 2 kids 5 & 8) just booked our first trip to DLP for October halfterm. We're travelling Eurostar and staying at the Cheyenne for 2 nights/3days.
We're very excited and have been putting off going before because of lack of dosh and waiting for youngest dd to be big enough (well that was dh's excuse!)
Any tips for October visits would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Laine

Welcome to the DIS Boards Laine. The best tip for visiting DLP is to buy the recently published "Brit's Guide to Disneyland Paris" guidebook by Simon Veness. It's a comprehensive guide to visiting DLP, and the author is a frequent contributor here. Details of the book can be found here.

I think it is a good plan to wait until your kids are old enough to appreciate a wide range of things available. 5 and 8 sounds like the perfect ages for a first visit...

October is a nice time to visit as you get all the Halloween decorations, and the crowds are not too large. It's a good idea to get to the parks at (or just before) opening time, as the first hour is always the best time to ride the major attractions with the shortest possible queues.

Regards

Rob

Thanks Rob
Have bought the book - have taken a quick peek. Will settle down with a coffee and spend the next couple of months planning our visit!
Cheers
Laine
