Disney Village Rumours

I've just come across rumours that Disney Village is to have two new places - rumoured to be Starbucks and Earl of Sandwich. I love the idea of a Starbucks - finally somewhere to get a decent coffee at DLP.

Sounds good. I remember that part of the financial restructure a few years back meant they were also planning to have a Chinese restaurant & the Sports Bar to become the ESPN bar in 2009.

They went ahead with all the rides they had planned so I can only imagine this will happen too.

I would love DLRP to start expanding the Disney Village, it obviously pays well to all involved, as companies like Mcdonalds, Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood have been here for years. While I'm not a coffee drinker I would certainly welcome a Starbucks to the Village, as it would be a great way to skip breakfast by grabbing a quick danish and a coffee on the way to the parks. Not sure about the Earl of Sandwich but I've heard a lot of positive reviews so I guess that to could be a welcome addition. Lets hope this becomes more than just another rumour. Of course the sources are said to be very reliable, so lets wait and see!

The expansion of the village has always been in the works but the priority went to the parks with the new rides in 2006,2007 & 2008 with the Village plans staring int 2009.
