We're going to WDW 5/1/03 for 7 nights. I have a ressie (thru AAA) for the Poly, but have decided to cancel that. We want to stay at POR, Alligator Bayou. We are AAA and DC members. I'm dizzy from reading so much info on the web about discounts and whatnot. Can anyone give me some advice about saving as much money as possible? Would it be a good idea to use DU services or just handle it all myself? We haven't been to WDW since 1993 and this will be like a 2nd honeymoon for DH and me. We can't wait, but of course would like to save as much as possible!

Thank you for your help!
~Lisa

We used DU for our DL trip this summer and they were great. I'm not sure if they have the same access to 'better rates' at WDW or not, but if you don't feel like doing it all yourself, you can always let them do it and just verify the costs independently yourself once you see them. They (DU) are very good about discussing things with you and giving you the items you're looking for...

I'd let DU take care of it for you. Both times, lower rates came available and my agent took care of the change. Let them worry about when the codes. AP rates, etc. come out. It's much easier.

Thanks for your replies. I love the WDW trip countdown on the profiles - how do I do that :)

Thanks again,
~Lisa

lisa, go to the technical board and there is a thread about countdowns with all the instructions.
