hey

Me and my partner late 20s no kids were planning a trip to Disney

The value hotels are really the only ones in our budget

Which one would u go for and would u say it's suitable for adults only

Must of our time will be in the parks though

All of the values are suitable for adults only, but none of them really have an adult vibe. I always pick Pop Century if I have to pick a value. I like the new room design and the overall feel of the resort better than the other values. I've stayed at all the values though and never have had a bad trip at any of them.

I stayed at All Star Sports and loved it. I'd say it's suitable for adults only. It's rare that the buses are shared with the other All Star Resorts, but All Star Sports is always the first to be picked up and dropped off.

I'd say that All Star Music, being the least appealing to young children, would be a good bet.

If cost is a concern, note that the All Stars are usually cheaper than the other values.

The only one I’ve been to is Art of Animation and I loved it. Beautiful resort and the busses were great

We've thoroughly enjoyed our stays at all 3 All Stars with Sports being our favorite.

I've only stayed at All Stars Movies and Sports, Movies 3 times - Sports once and definitely prefer Movies. Lots of kids but we were an adult group and still had fun!

We've liked All Star Music and it seemed to have fewer kids. Also, since it's the "middle" All Star resort, it was an easy walk to Sports or Movies to try different food courts. We also like Pop; haven't stayed at AoA.

Enjoy your vacation!

:dogdance:I would dicide between Pop or Art of Animation , i prefer Pop but both are really really good

All adults here, POP is our favorite .... around 30 stays.

We have stayed at ASSports quite a few times last few years and it was just fine.

We avoid Movies because it's popular with young kids/families.

At this point we would stay offsite before returning to Music.

AoA is very nice, would like to stay there but discounts are rare.

Curious as to why that is. Aren't all the All Stars pretty dang similar? We've done single nights at both Movies and Music and other than decor, couldn't tell one from another but we weren't there long so I could have missed something important.

Music is laid out completely different than all other values. The hub is at one end of say a rectangle, with the bulk of the standards at the other end. (I see no point in paying for preferred at values, and half theirs is suites anyway). The walk front to back a few times a day gets quite old when you are staying a week.

Add to that it is a very poorly lit resort, very dark, full of shrubbery and in the back of the resort you see virtually no CMs. I'm city kid and wander NYC no issues but that resort makes me very uncomfortable, especially with so many rooms backing up to woods. Seriously I've wandered MK parking lot at 1 am after MNSSHP (got off tram wrong side of lot), I've walked through POP many nights at 2 am. Always people about, never thought twice but Music bothers me ... I don't understand why lighting is so poor there.

I don't think it really has any Disney theme to notice and the back area feels like a Motel 6. It's not fun kinda sad. The pools are blah, especially main pool, especially compared to Sports and Movies.

I've never had anything but bad experiences with their food court and one night after waiting 30 minutes for a burger for DS, I opted to not eat (I wanted a salad or something lighter from another station). That was the last time we ate there, rest of trip we ate at parks or drove elsewhere.

Last trip I got to experience County Police being called multiple times to the building I was in for domestic issues, and traveling alone with DS (disabled one) I really began to feel more than unsafe there. Lots of groups of adults hanging along the upper floor walkways smoking. I opted to park as close to our room as I could and we then drove everywhere. But then that was an issue in itself because where we were - also was a large grouping of 18 wheeler trucks with their trailers parked.

I will say one trip my DS was very sick (like keys and shoes by door ready to head to ER) but by morning fever dropped. I took towels from housekeeper but told her not to come in since he was sick. She was sweet about it. Next day when we could go to a park we returned to a card and stuffed Mickey. Pixie Dust ............ but she literally was our only positive CM interaction in the entirety of our trips.

There is a reason it's always available and always less than the others.

I agree with this, esp the parts I bolded. Music has a VERY poor/awkward layout.... plus its dark as heck. Makes me feel VERY uneasy, esp since im a single female travelling alone. If that ain't enough, during my stay there I had bed bugs in my room. I know you can get bed bugs anywhere, but that just put a bad taste in my mouth. NEVER AGAIN! @AngiTN

On a positive note, I will say that disney handled my bed bug situation VERY well. I was impressed.

Ooops! Forgot to answer the OP question...for adults without a doubt, POP! Love that resort. I love crossing the bridge and walking around AoA, as well as eating at their food court. For room location, I love 60's lakeview. So pretty!
Just look at the pic i took....this is facing AoA.
