Disney Vacay with the Love Bugs (New 6/23 update ~ Chef Mickeys)

I love the carriage and Pick a Pearl! I have been debating whether or not to do this on our next trip for my nieces. Were they expensive, the carriages? Where did you find them? How big of a pearl do they hold and were you worried that she would choose an oyster with a pearl too big?

Sorry for the barrage of questions... =)

I agree that it kind of ruins the fun of the kim possible missions if people tell you where things are, luckily you guys were still able to have fun it.

Lexi's pearl carriage looks too cute!

Can't wait for more:goodvibes

Thanks, I even love wearing the pearl carriage too!

I think your nieces would enjoy it.
They are not expensive at all & I bought it on ebay.
I posted the link to it a couple of post above your post. Go look at the link, you'll be impressed with the price.
I'm not sure about what size of pearl it holds. The description on the link might tell. I was very worried that she might get a pearl that was too big, but it all worked out good! :thumbsup2

The pearl in the carriage is such a wonderful idea. So cute. :) Your daughter IS a princess.

I also love the picture with Marie. Looking for characters at World Showcase was one of our favorite activities on our last trip. It was one of those things that my daughter "got it". Next time we might try Kim Impossible. :)

Can't wait to read more.

All caught up! Still here, still reading-- just had to shovel out and deal with some snow and life over the winter Holiday...but now im back and psyched for more updates! :hyper:

Thanks, you're so sweet!
We saw a lot of characters in Epcot, it was a nice surprise with some of them that you didn't expect to see.
Your DD will love doing the Kim Impsossible. I thought Lexi & Levi were a great age to do it because they didn't need too much help.

At least you can think of shoveling as getting some excersising & getting in shape for the summer :). I couldn't imagine shoveling snow, I'd probably pass out, that's a lot of work!

Walking around WS, we had these PP picture made.

We saw Peter Pan all alone.

We went to UK & the kids did another KP mission. Levi was very ill & did not want to participate anymore. Here he is on the ground not wanting to do anything. At 1st I was upset with him thinking he was being grumpy for no reason. Then I realized that it was the heat making him this way & I know it was 500 degrees underneath that hat. But, he refused to take it off.

WDW2010344.jpg

Levi perked up some & participated a little in the Tea store.

WDW2010346.jpg

At the phone booths, I kept calling the numbers to get Lexi or Levi to answer the phone. Lexi was the only one who answered the phone. She wasn’t even phased that it was me on the other end. I guess she thinks every mom just happens to have the phone booths numbers.
So, much for my fun.

WDW2010350.jpg

Then, Brad & I have fun while the kids finish their KP mission :love2:

WDW2010348.jpg

We walked away from the phone booths and I saw two men standing next to them. I called the phone again. The one that answered was wearing yellow shorts.

“Hello”

“I just want to tell you that you have sexy legs & I love looking at them in those yellow shorts you're wearing”

The guy is laughing & looking around.

Lexi & Levi are hollering really loud, “Who are you talking to mom?!!!”

I didn’t want to get busted by yellow shorts guy, so that was all the fun I had with my prank call. :rolleyes1

Now, on to Canada

WDW2010353.jpg

The heat was killing us, we left WS & cooled off in the sprayers near Test Track.

WDW2010354.jpg

Levi finally has the hat off & is cooling down.

Much needed Coke & Cherry ice-ee’s to the rescue on this HOT September day!:drinking1

We rode the boys favorite one last time

Photo0207FourBySix.jpg

We stopped in Club Cool today. This is the only picture I was able to capture of anyone tasting the Beverly. And, guess what, he didn’t think it was bad! No reaction at all. I was so disappointed not to get the goofy face pics that everyone else post on their TR's. I must have weird kids.

Con't in next post.....

We found the right Visa card picture line this time :thumbsup2.
My plans before the trip was to take advantage of this Visa Photo package on several days, but of course that didn’t happen.

We took the monorail to MK to see if my camera bag was at their lost-and-found. Levi & I checked in Guest Relation on my camera while Brad & Lexi went to order another set of Mickey ears for a family member back home.
MK did not have my camera bag. Everything from all parks & buses would go to the Ticket & Transportation Center. They give me the number to call.

Levi & I have a quick PP pic taken while at MK

Photo0215FourBySix.jpg

While on the monorail back to Epcot, I call reservations to try again for my Sci-Fi lunch for the next day. This morning none was available. Now, they had one available for 7:00. We were not planning to stay in DHS for that long the next day, but I took it anyway. I guess we’ll change plans & stay longer at DHS. My kids have to eat in a car!

We get back on the Monorail to go back to Epcot. Had I known on the way back to Epcot that we were right at the TTC we should have stopped then to look in person for my camera case, but we did not. I called & they had 15 camera cases from both Sunday & Monday. Can you believe that many from just 2 days? None of them looked like the one I was describing. I’m just going to have to look myself and take more time out of my trip later.

Taking pictures from the monorail of Epcot where it was time for our dinner reservations at….

I'm glad that Levi had a chance to cool off in the sprayers. I'm sure that heat can really do a number on you, especially with a chipmunk on your head!

We saw Peter Pan all alone.

Okay, you got the crossed arms, but you need some work on that Peter Pan attitude there young lady. I figured you would be a natural with that part...... :rolleyes1

No fair saying something like this and then Levi doesn't appear until the third picture after. I thought he had turned into a flower bed or something..... :confused3
Levi perked up some & participated a little in the Tea store.
Must be some really good tea in that place. My boys seemed to come out of there in a good mood too!

I think you will persist until your luck improves.....

THERE it is...... :rotfl:
“I just want to tell you that you have sexy legs & I love looking at them in those yellow shorts you're wearing”
I bet you say that to ALL the guys.........................wearing yellow shorts! ;)

What's wrong with these kids?? First the phone booth, now the Beverly....... :confused3

Can't wait to see where you eat in Epcot!!! And the camera bag saga continues..........

So funny about Lexi not even having a reaction when you called her. Didn't you just want her to say "Wow, Mom that is so awesome, how did you do that!?" I'm sure you made the guy in the yellow shorts day, too funny! You and Lexi look great for such a hot day, I would have been a mess! Great update, can't wait to read about the rest of the day.

I love that you called a complete stranger in the phone booths!!! :lmao: That is just hilarious!

Very cute and fun pics around the WS. Glad Levi started to feel better and was able to cool off too. We tried those slushy Cokes a couple trips ago-yum!

I hope you are able to find your camera case...I can only imagine how much stuff the Lost & Found gets! I bet they have some pretty good stories about strange stuff appearing.

Now, where are your reservations at?????

Okay, you got the crossed arms, but you need some work on that Peter Pan attitude there young lady. I figured you would be a natural with that part...... :rolleyes1

You should be a fly on the wall in my house in the mornings trying to get my daughter ready to leave for school on time. You'd see attitudes flying everywhere. You just need to be thankful it's 3 boys you have instead of 3 girls!

No fair saying something like this and then Levi doesn't appear until the third picture after. I thought he had turned into a flower bed or something..... :confused3

I know, my bad. I noticed that after I finished posting that I copied wrong from Photobucket, I didn't feel like going back & changing it.
I was hoping no one would catch on.....

I bet you say that to ALL the guys.........................wearing yellow shorts! ;)

and pink & purple. I have a thing for guys wearing colorful shorts

What's wrong with these kids?? First the phone booth, now the Beverly....... :confused3

I know, poor things, it's genetic

Can't wait to see where you eat in Epcot!!! And the camera bag saga continues..........

It's fun!

Darn it! When the weather finally got warm enough towards the end of our trip all I had to pose in for the pictures was plain ol' khaki......... :guilty:

Too funny about your prank call:lmao:

Luckily you were able to get a Sci-Fi ressie, even if it wasn't for the time you wanted.

Hopefully your camera case turns up:goodvibes

:rotfl:Over the yellow shorts guy in the phone booth. Would have been even funnier if he caught you. Well, if he had a good attitude about it.

The heat will certainly get you if you have a rodent on your head. Maybe that is why he liked the Beverly. He was hot and anything was better than nothing.:lmao:

Yay on getting a Sci-Fi ressie. Bet you still tried for an earlier one though.

Great job on the prank call!!! Sounds like something I'd do! :rotfl: Nothing beats a great day at Epcot... :cloud9:

WHERE ARE THE RESERVATIONS AT??!!!

Glad to see you were able to get one for Sci Fi though :) I know what you mean by eating in the cars. My first time eating in the cars was when I was 7 and we've been back several times since then, you can't beat those milkshakes!!!!

LOL at the guy in the yellow shorts! I'm sure he was swooning that a sweet Southern lady thought his legs looked sexy!
Your family Visa shot is great!

“Hello”

“I just want to tell you that you have sexy legs & I love looking at them in those yellow shorts you're wearing”

:lmao:

read below about my color shorts.

im scared to ask how you feel about those wearing golfer shorts.
this is a great picture when we travel around we are always looking at the country side and never thought to get a picture this way, it turned out great.

I bet you say that to ALL the guys.........................wearing yellow shorts! ;)
and to think i got rid of all my colorful shorts because of all the women in SC that kept telling me i had sexy legs in them...it was like the papparazzi swarming me.
:rolleyes1

It was hot wasn't it? I'm glad Levi went in to cool off!!

Great pictures....I love that you prank called....that's the best!!!!
