Disney Vacay with the Love Bugs (New 6/23 update ~ Chef Mickeys)

:sad2: That sucks that Levi has the swind flu! I hope you all are able to stay well.

As for Soarin...oh...that would have made me too nervous. I had to laugh when I read about the hand rails. I can not handle when my family touches them. I avoid them at all cost.
:upsidedow

I'm joining in! So excited to hear about your trip!! I kept any eye out for you... but couldn't find you anywhere I should start my TR but also have been getting caught up with everything here!

 Oh my gosh, I would have reacted the same exact way to the Soarin' seat incident... especially once I saw the caution tape!!! Too funny!

Cute picture of Lexi and Levi in Bruce's mouth! :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness, I'm really sorry to hear that Levi has the swine flu! Bless his little heart! I hope he gets well really soon and that none of the rest of y'all end up with it!! :)

Oh no! Sorry to hear Levi's gotten sick again. We've been dealing with this fun stuff in our house, but were lucky enough that everyone has it. Hope no one else catches it!

Love your update! I don't think I would've been able to bring myself to sit in that seat! I might be able to relate to your dh.. I'm constantly telling the boys not to touch hand rails too! :rotfl: They're so germy! That was too funny though!

Your van cracks me up. Dh is not a fan of those antlers, so I threaten to buy a set every Christmas. We've been alternating antena toppers for the seasons, but I never did remember to get something for the holidays. They're so cute! :goodvibes

Thanks! I hope you all get better too!

My kids begged for the antlers several years ago & they always want Brad to have some for his car. We're always teasing Brad telling him that we're going to put them on his car too. They sell a Bunny set too for Easter that Lexi always wants me to buy. I love our antlers but I can't bring myself to put the bunny ears on the van.

Thanks. I'll be glad when this flu season is over. We're gonna start getting the flu shot from here on out. I took the kids out of school a week for Disney saying that they never get sick. And, now, Levi has had the flu twice!
Looks like I need to be more anti-germ too!

The caution tape was funny, weren't expecting to see that!

Thanks! He went back to school today for the 1st time this week. He's got a lot of catching up to do. The rest of us are taking Tamiflu, so we better not get sick!

Just plain gross!

That's funny that there was criss-crossed Caution tape across the seat. :rotfl2:

Hey, I had a similar problem with my signature as I see in yours...a bunch of gobbledygook and asterisks. To fix it, go to your User CP, edit your signature and just hit enter (even if it looks all right). That should clear it up. ;)

Ooooh man, poor Brad getting the poor luck to have to sit next to contamination central! especially having such a focu on hygiene!!!:headache:

My uncle is a policeman and during the troubles here in northern Ireland he got teased for bringing baby wipes into the trenches at Drumcree by the other guys in the riot squad! he just couldn't handle the dirt, the violence wasn't as big a problem!

I laugh every time I see those hats and think of your persuasions for other hats! that lunch looks good! Thats the kind of options DBF would love instead of french fries!

I couldn't anything wrong with my signature, but I went ahead & did what you said in case it looks wrong with everyone else. Hopefully it is fixed now?

That's funny your Uncle is not scared of riots, but didn't like getting dirty!

Yep, Lexi & Levi were killing me with the hats!

French Fries is a big weakness of mine, so I never order them anywhere because I will just eat too many of them. I am always sneaking some from the kids plate though.

We signed up for our very 1st Kim Possible mission. :goodvibes I have been so excited to try this!

Our 1st mission was in Japan.

I was worried at 1st if it would be a problem for Lexi & Levi sharing the Kimmunicater since they are both very competitive kids. Thankfully, they were able to share & take turns with no fights. :thumbsup2

During one of our 1st missions we were COMPLETELY in the wrong area. A lady nearby listening to us came over & told us where to go & what we were looking for. I knew she was just trying to be nice, so I went ahead & said, "Thank-you". But, we did not like her giving us the answer. I wish she would have just pointed us the general direction or asked if we wanted help with the answer before telling.

We all had a lot of fun as a family doing the KP missions.

We were able to stop for a while & listen to this band.

After our Japan Kim Possible mission, I took Lexi to Pick-a-Pearl. Before the trip I ordered the Cinderella carriage to hold the pearl.
:tink: Tinkerbelle delivered this gift to our room this morning.

Lexi found the oyster she wants & the CM gets it for her

I really, really , really wanted a pix with Beast from 'Beauty & the Beast'. It's one of my favorite Disney movies. Belle & Beast were out for pictures, but the line was a mile long! I did not want to wait & I was so disappointed that I did not get my picture! :guilty:

We did see...

Marie! We saw Marie coming out & we were 2nd in line! :goodvibes

We are having the best time in WS today!

Con't in next post: HERE

Picking pearls is one of my most favorite things to do in all of WDW! We have the same carriage necklace! princess:

Our first KP mission was in Japan as well. We had a little bit of trouble with that one. Not sure why, maybe because it is such a big area to cover:confused3.

PaP looks like fun! Lexi got a beautiful pearl. I am hoping to do PaP with Chloe for our next family trip whenever that may be.

You had me @ "Chapter Links" :worship: I, too read more TR w/ them than w/out. Joining In. Better late than never!!:thumbsup2

that is why you are way ahead of marv in the niceness catagory.:thumbsup2
I reeaaalllllyyyy don't think that is the criteria you are using here........ :rolleyes1
Anyway, the CM could tell by the look on Brads face he was not happy. She assured him that the person just got sick from the motion & the seat was not contagious. She said they just have to keep the seat empty now.

When we went in, the seat by Brad had the Yellow Caution tape criss-crossed ALL over the seat. Levi, Lexi & I were rolling laughing at Brad now after seeing all the Caution tape :rotfl:.
As other's have said, I'm not a germaphobe but that would have been a little uncomfortable anyway.

Not sure why Brad is so nervous about such things, though. I know where you guys like to go watch football games, and there are way more diseases he can catch THERE......... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
The Rudolph antenna topper matched awesomely with our Rudolph car antlers this past Christmas!
You’re not a cool mom unless you have a mini-van with Rudolph antlers & a Rudolph nose on it. Don’t be jealous!
Hey, I think I saw that van driving around Greenville!!! ;) I remember laughi...., uh, admiring it!
They sell a Bunny set too for Easter that Lexi always wants me to buy. I love our antlers but I can't bring myself to put the bunny ears on the van.
You have GOT to get the bunny ears.....and put a really big ball of cotton on the back! ;)
Thanks! He went back to school today for the 1st time this week. He's got a lot of catching up to do. The rest of us are taking Tamiflu, so we better not get sick!
Glad Levi is better, and back at school!

Nice update on the KP mission. How rude that the lady told you what to do and where to go! My boys really enjoy those and there were times they pointed out people who were doing them and told us things that were about to happen so we could see some of it. This was a really neat idea the Imagineers came up with! :thumbsup2

Ahhh...looks like you guys were having a great time. We've done the Japan KP Mission twice. (Some variety between the two times.) Really Japan is one of our favorite countries in WS...seems like we usually spend about 3 hours there. Love the Candy Lady (Myuki) also, but loved her better when you got to keep the candy. DD got a kick out of pick-a-pearl, but didn't want it in Jewelry, it just sits in her "treasure box"!

I love the pick of Lexi and Levi with the Kimmunicator-- they look so focused and determined!! Seems like Lexi had fun with picking a pearl-- it's such a unique experience.

i keep seeing pics of the pick a pearl but we have never ventured in to do it...maybe next trip.

it looks like a lot of fun.

did they charge you to place it in the necklace that your brought?

I reeaaalllllyyyy don't think that is the criteria you are using here........ :rolleyes1
sure it is. :goodvibes

I loved picking a pearl in Japan! I'm so upset with myself that I didn't take pictures though. :sad1: I guess it's because we had dinner at Via Napoli and I kept checking the time. It's such a fun experience!

Love Lexi's pearl! I just ordered those carriages for my girls. I look forward to doing the PaP next trip!

Also looking forward to Kim Possible. Glad to hear that the kids were able to share. I hope my two will be so good. :rolleyes1

I'm all caught up with your TR now. What a great keepsake the pearl and carriage will make , I wish we had done that! Loving your report!
