My understanding, as of this morning, is that Hunchback IS closing, Tap is going from two parade segments to one, and Tarzan Rocks! is NOT I repeat NOT going down. We heard the rumor last night (in the middle of a Tarzan rehearsal, ironically) that our show was on the list of things to close, but our stage managers said NO way, attendance at the show is UP from this time last year, we have 4,000 guests a day view the show, DAK is already viewed by many as a half-day park, and our GSM scores are too good to justify taking the show down. This morning our managers again reassured us that Tarzan was not going anywhere. HOWEVER I do want to say that unfortunately there is ALWAYS an element of truth to these rumors, and with Disney in survival mode as it is, a show that costs $35,000-$50,000 a DAY to produce may be a tempting target to cut, and that maybe after the holidays we could expect to hear a new announcement. As of now, we just finished 5 show a day trials (increasing the number of shows per day by one), and we are in the middle of rehearsals for new stunt performers, so I would be surprised if an announcement was made about Tarzan closing. Somehow, however, this place always has a way of surprising me.
