Disney Vacation Planning Video Won't Come!

I've now ordered TWO vacation planning videos, the first at the beginning of September, and the second mid-October. I even gave a different address when I ordered a second time to be safe. They still haven't come!

Has anyone else had this problem? Why won't it come?! Does it have anything to do with being in QC, or maybe there's just a backlog?

It may be because you live in the provence of Quebec. Ontario is the only provence that I know of that the DVC can sell direct to. I think you need to be at Disney to buy the DVC direct or to pick up information. I think that is why Disney will not send you any DVC information.

A trick that I've heard from other friends (didn't try it first hand thought), is to use you address, but to specify another province (ex. Ontario). It should fool Disney, but the post office works mainly with the Postal Code, so eventually you will get it.

You can receive them in Quebec we've gotten one every year. Maybe they are just waiting for the new addition to be ready to send out to you.

From what I understand the planning DVD's are out of stock. There will be a new one coming out shortly and they will probably fill outstanding orders at that time.

I had a similar problem, and I am in Ontario. Ordered one last Feb, and March, and on the phone when I booked late March -- nothing.

I guess I will have to go and see for myself, two weeks today!

OP - From what I gather, you are asking for the Vacation Planning and *NOT* the DVC DVD, right? If that is the case, then living in Quebec is not the issue. I've found towards the end of the year, planning material from Disney is very slow in arriving - whether it be from them being busy in fulfillment or just waiting on new materials, it's hard to say.

However, as mentioned above - we ordered one in Feb 2006 - and it arrived in October 2006!

From what I've read on the board (planning), those who "collect" the video indicate it does change. I can't personally confirm, as I did not order one this year. Don't know if that does or does not help!

Thanks for all the advice! Good thing I'm not going until August, although with my luck, it'll probably arrive the day after I leave!

we've got 3 of them I think now and they are all different. The kids love watching them.

Really, how do they differ?

Each one has different people doing it. One year it had group of 4 adults showing the different areas (not sure if that was this year or lasts) and another one has it as a kids view with a bunch of teenagers going around.
