Disney Vacation Planning DVD

I ordered this about 3-4 weeks ago and still haven't received it (in Canada). Is this normal or should I try ordering it again? We're surprising our kids on Christmas with a February trip and would really love to have this DVD before then so we can watch it together.

I noticed that when you order it online, you never seem to actually get to a screen that confirms your order. I just got bumped around from page to page after completing my order. Everything from signing up for newsletters to reviews on my latest experience...

Anyone order it recently and how long did it take to ship?

You might ask on this thread http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2 since it has a lot of planners on it and threads on the same topic come up every couple weeks.

I couldn't tell you how long it took to get mine since it was a while ago.

It takes a reeeeeealy long time to get it...like 8 weeks.

Do you have Netflix? There is a series of DVDs called "Disney Park Secrets" or something of that nature that you could watch. They're even available through their "watch instantly" online streaming...I recommend those as watching with the kids much more so than the DVD Disney sends out as a "planning" DVD. It's really more fluffy propaganda.

I thought of something else it's not great but if you are anxious you can find all the clips from the DVD on youtube.

8 weeks! Wow, that's crazy. Nope, no Netflix. Bummer, that would have been good!

Good to know on youtube. That can always been a last resort if it doesn't show up by Christmas. Thanks guys!

I've ordered it twice and never have received it. We leave in 2 weeks.

Usually it takes 3-4 weeks to come in the States, so it would probably take longer in Canada, but I would order mine again if it's been that long.

This makes me think of something. Take this with a grain of salt because it's just a rumor and I'm not trying to rain on anyone parade.

Because Disney is changing it's market sloganing from Celebrate to Memories people are suggest the planning DVDs will be new after the holiday season.

I have no reason to believe that the new DVD rumor is or isn't true. What if it is and they ran out of Celebrate DVDs and are holding onto the Memories CDs for another 3 weeks before shipping them out?

I ve ordered it a couple of times but have never received it. I even get email mailings to order the dvd and i still don' t get it :-(
I am using a us address btw.
