Hi!
right now the cost per point is $75.
minimum points you can buy is 150.
annual dues vary with whichever home resort you buy at. but it ranges from a little over $3 to almost $4 a point annually. for instance, I own 300 points at OKW, and my annual dues are $915 a year.
currently there is only inventory at VWL available, however you can look into a resale at BWV, OKW, Vero Beach or HH. they are less money per point, but you need to go through a realestate agent for that,
If you go on the
DVC board, they can help youout, even give you the name and # of a great agent a lot of them used for resales.
we belong to dvc since 1997, although we own at OKW, we have never stayed there!! we used points at the GF, and now that we go to WDW more often, we use our points at a home resort (cause they go much further that way) we love the BWV, so we stay there on our points, and then we pay $$$ for our other stays with annual pass discounts, for instance this year our trips to the GF, YC, and the Poly, we paid cash for, and our two longer vacations we use points for at the BW.!!!
we love dvc, it is awesome, and in our opinion the best thing we ever did!!!

we would never get to wdw so often without it!!!
yes, it's a lot of money at first, but they have payment plans, and think about how much a resort will cost in 10 or 20, even 30 years! It will be outrageous, and your points wll be all paid off, and it will feel like you're going for free!!!
It is a phenomenal long term investment, to guarantee lots of happy vacations in the future, whether you choose to always go to WDW, or other places on the list, and believe me, there are a ton of choices!!!
go on the DVC board, you'll learn a lot!!! but it truly is wonderful!!! feel free to e-mail or PM me, if you have any questions!!!
