I have a question... I have created an account as you well knoe you have to leave a Credit Card on record... but I do not wish to save $ by them taking money from my CC, I am planning on adding Gift Cards from time to time...

So, my question is... how do I stop them from charging $ to my CC and just taking money from GC I add?

Don't setup the DVA for recurring payments. If you already set it up for recurring payments, go in to the option to stop it.

u can toggle the 1 tie payment and then u r done with the c/c...then pay as u wish with gift cards. I know this because I just set it up Thursday

thanks, found the option for stopping the automatic payments (duh!) ... now to start buying target/disney GC to add... might take a long while but I think its going to be worth it!

MUCH easier to enter gc info online than transfer the whole package to pay. MUCH!!

By "whole package" do you mean the Disney Account ? I dont understand... sorry

Hey, don't apologize!!! If I apologized for all the things I didn't understand, I'd never sleep!

What I meant to say it that u enter each card into your vacation account and, when it is time to pay for your vacay, you can transfer the whole account instead of having toread all the code numbers on EACH CARD to the hapless disney cast member who answered your call.....

I hope that makes sense.....ask again if unsure. I'm just learnin'myself

Aww ok... my plan is to add as many GC as I can to the Disney Account and when I have a decent figure (lets say 1000, so I can get the $20) I will make that payment to my DCL cruise using my Disney Account in the DCL site... and repeat until I have it all paid up.

That's me, too. I need to save TONS (maybe $3000) but I've started buying gift cards a while ago....I'm in better shape than the rest of my family. The other 2 families have been advised and counseled and now they're on their own....
