Still trying to decide whether I should make them young Simba and Nala (I'd place them at 10) or adult Simba and Nala (I'd place them at 17-18). There's pros and cons of each. Help?

It is tough.

If they're young, Timon and Pumbaa would be considered Simba's foster parents, they'd probably be apart, I may or may not have to go through Mufasa's death, and they'd be much younger than everyone else.

If they're old, Timon and Pumbaa would be friends instead of foster parents, Simba and Nala would likely reunite, Mufasa would be dead but I wouldn't have to go through his death scene, and they'd be around the same age as most of the people.

Once I get through that decision though everything will be fine, I just have to play them as humans. Which is fine, I can imagine it, I just saw The Lion King Broadway Musical last Thursday.

Okay, so I decided I'd make Simba and Nala children, but if I need to I can make them age fast, since lions age a lot faster than humans and the characters were originally lions.
