Hi everyone
I was looking at all the different tickets that are available to buy for Disney World, I was wondering if any one had bought the ultimate one for either 14 or 21 days and then added on the no expiry on when they got to Disney World. We are going next year but also thinking of when we go again in the future. We are flying with Thomas Cook out of Gatwick has any one else flown with them, what are they like, thanks for any advice

Sounds like a good idea

any one know

Welcome to the Dis Board! :wave2:

As far as I know you can't add the expiry option to the ultimate tickets. I think that is only available with the MYW tickets. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong! :goodvibes

You are right in that you can't add the no expiry option to the ultimate tickets - I think you might be able to with the 5 and 7 day premium tickets but, by the time you have paid to upgrade to no-expiry, you may as well pay for a MYW ticket (they're about the same costs)

Hi there and welcome to the UK Community Disboards. :thumbsup2

Im just going to move this over to trip planning for you, but please feel free to introduce yourself on the getting to know you thread at the top of the UK Community boards. Lovely to have you onboard and ask away with any questions that you may have. Happy Planning :goodvibes

Welcome to the Dis :):)

Where are you staying when you go out next year?

Hi we have hired a villa in Tuscan Ridge going 22nd June till 6th July there are five of us and possibly two more which we will know nearer the time. We actually live in Northern Ireland but it is so much cheaper to fly from England we are saving about £500 by doing this.

I looked on the Walt Disney site and it says under Q&A this about the Ultimate Ticket

Q. Is there an expiration date on these tickets?
A. Yes. Disney's Ultimate Tickets expire 14 days from first day of use for a 14-Day Ticket and 21 days from first day of use for a 21-Day Ticket. For Disney's 5- or 7-Day Premium Tickets, Theme Park admission and options expire 14 days from the first day of use. However, you can purchase a non-expiration component at the Theme Park front gate.

I have e-mailed them any way and asked the question, you never know I might be suprised. I will let you all know.

Hi Shaz we are out there at the same time! We're staying at AllStar Movies so maybe if you fancied experiencing a bit of Disney living you could come and see us for drinks or something!!!

Have you planned independence day yet? (july 4th)...with regards to parks it needs to be given careful consideration but i've been told it's worth it!

Hi
That would be great maybe we could meet up, we have hired a car, I was looking at accommodation in Disney but with five of us I like the freedom of a villa. Have not really though about independance day yet, I have asked the kids where they want to go and from that I will sort something out.

I am thinking of going to Discovery Cove but the expense of it is a bit off putting.
Have you been there. How many of you are going, Where are you flying from, sorry for so many questions but it is great to talk to some one else who is going when we are

Shaz

Have you considered the Magic Your Way tickets? these can offer park hopper and non expiry facility depending on which one's you buy.

Sorry not trying to move away from your original question.

Hi
yes I will probably get them for the 10 days with the no expiry as they have the six other parks on them as well. I know we will not use all the days probably five and three, we had the 7 day ultimate ticket last year and used all the days but we did not do a lot of other place which we intend to do this time so I know that we would be able to use the ticket next time we go, just thinking ahead to our next trip to Disney
Thanks for your advice

The Ultimate passes are supposedly designed with the UK visitor in mind & expire at the end of your stay ie. 14-21 days. Disney also know that if you have x No. of days of unlimited use, physcologically you think about getting your moneys worth & are less likely to spend time at the opposition! If you are only going once then I think they are a good deal but I would compare the prices against a 5-7 day MYW,you can always put no-expiry on if you have days left,as long as you do it within the 14 days but the cost is on the original No. not what's left.
