Disney UK Pin Traders

Can't tell you how much they'd be in demand but I can tell you that they are official pin trading pins. They have the pin trading logo on the backing card with the year. I'd assume as they are UK ones they would be popular. I do know some of our guests have already been buying them to take over to trade on holiday as they're cheaper here.

I'm glad to read this as I would be uncomfortable with this. Will ensure that troops do their trading only with CMs :goodvibes

I know what you mean - and if it is purely the kids trying to up their pin total then trading with the CMs is the way to go.
But for someone like my DW who has a very specific collection this is the only way she can get the ones she wants as most of them have now been discontinued.
We will certainly be making sure we have a handful of UK ones before we go and if they are accepted as trade then brilliant - if not we will go about it the way we did last time, provided the price isn't too high if course.

Cambridge Disney Store has had the pins too. Saw them the other week and brought some this week.

A nice Toy Story crew pin, Band Leader Mickey (with moveable arm), Wall-e with Plant (so cute) and the Pinnochio Limited Ed pin. Which I have to say is gorgeous, it was the last one they had so I was so glad to get it :goodvibes

I'm saving some of these as a surprise for my parents and dads best friend for our trip to Disneyland Paris in June. Though I have to say I'm likely keeping Wall-e and I don't know if I want to give away Pinnochio!

Also the Cambridge store had some nice Red and Gold Disney Store lanyards, though they dont come with any pins

Incidentally to those looking for cheap pins. Ebay is fine - Buy it now choices are normally best, though the occasional auctions can be worth it too! If you search using the worldwide search option many american sellers will sell internationally.

Edit: Also additional tip for people bound for WDW for your trading, if you have wheels, be sure to check out Walmart and the cheap tourist stores and Drugstores for pins, they all sell cheap pins ranging from $1-$5 that are tradeable with CM's at least. Its a great way to get pins if your aiming for some CM ones

They are selling them in the Norwich store, I asked a friend who works for disney and they said that all stores should be selling them in the uk soon, they are just introducing so many at a time to see how popular the sales will be.

I've bought a few from the Norwich store already and I know that the store in Cardiff sells them as well.

UK Cast member - ALL stores are selling pins in the UK now. It's our standard merchandise and we all sell the same pins. It's only online that diff or a rare 'selected' store pin, which goes to spotlight stores - but they'll be advertised. And all should have the lanyard too - only one type.

Oh dear! I really shouldn't have read this thread. The money I was saving for Disney is going to end up being spent at Disney, just in the UK and not in the US :rotfl:
