I am trying to get an itinerary for a California trip- we will be visiting for 2 weeks. There are so many places to see, so trying to get a time frame for each "leg" of the trip. Disneyland is the main reason we are coming, so we are thinking 3-4 days at the parks. We will be staying at the Grand Californian, so we would have access to early mornings, etc. Does 3 days sound about right- or 4 days, 2 for Disney, and 2 for Califoria Adventure? Any help or opinions will help me decide. Thanks!!

When are you going? How many days depends on how crowded it is, how long the park hours are, and how much of the park you want to see.

Remember that it is really EASY to jump from DL to CA at anytime during the day. Don't think you have to spend an entire day at one park only. See what you like and then if there is something you want to see in the other park, hop back over and see it. I would recommend 4 days but then we usually go for 6-7 days when we go and only visit DLR.
