The crowds were heavier than expected especially in the Magic Kingdom. The other parks we were able to ride things with a minimal wait time. But every time we went to the Magic Kingdom it was the busiest of all the parks. At night we were able to ride the big attractions with little to no wait time, but Fantasyland was packed most of the time, so we had to fast pass a few of those rides so we could ride them at all. All of the christmas offerings are great. The osbourne lights are spectacular, the candlelight processional was great John O Hurley was a great narrator, and the party was nice too. We went to the party on two nights, because I wanted to get some of the pictures with the characters that don't come out as often. Good thing I went two nights you can not do everything at the party in one night. If you are going to the party look at the offerings and decide what you want to do before hand. The first night I lined up for the dwarfs there was a pretty good size line by 6:30 pm but that one went pretty fast. The lines for Abue and genie weren't real bad. Tiana and Naveens line wasn't long but took a while but Prince Naveen was funny and Tiana has a beautiful gown and its a very nice picture area a gazebo all lit up. The worst lines by far had to be the princesses with their prince and the fairies. I have never been in a line for a character where people just got up and left the line. It was simply ridiculous. I waited over an hour for each one. When you finally got into the room. Two princess stand there while the first group meets the first princess and then moves on so forth so much wasted time meanwhile there is a line so long outside waiting. I even went when the first parade took place I don't know of a better strategy. The next party date I went to the fairies line first thing and it had a 75 minute wait. When I came back later it was a thirty minute wait but took over an hour to meet them again they take a few back at a time. Disney really needs to reevalute there line structure for those characters. The other longest line was Rapunzel and Flynn they have a nice area for pics during the day that line was wrapped way around the castle and was long everytime I walked by that way. All in all a nice trip heavier crowds than I expected, colder weather as well. Tuesday was 86 and Wednesday it dropped and was cold and windy. All the christmas offerings are nice, but you definately need to have a plan and be organized to do all that you want to do. Also when your in Hollywood Studios if you go in the morning make sure you head straight back to Toy Story Mania the fast passes were gone by 10:30 and there was actually a line to get the fast pass. It was like a 50 minute wait at park opening for that ride. I think they need to revamp that park and do alot more pixar attractions. In frontierland during the day there was a line that stretched throughtout frontierland just to meet Woody. Toy Story characters were very popular as well as the Beauty and the Beast characters they had long lines to in Epcot. And right when I got into meet the characters at the party those two had just left. Nice trip although I don't know if I would do it again at that time unless some new things were added.
