Disney Trip Planning Kickoff Dinner - Ideas Needed!

Okay, so my family and I are going to WDW fall 2012. Sometime this coming fall, I'd like to have them all over for dinner and unveil the trip Power Point presentation I've been working on. I know, I need to go to Disney Planners Anonymous.

So I need ideas for good Disney-fied:

Appetizer
Entree and Side(s)
Dessert
Specialty Drinks

I was hoping you guys might be able to help me out with some recipe ideas! The more luscious the better, as my DH does NOT share my enthusiasm for Disney. The way to a man's heart is through his ribcage, right? I mean... um... stomach.

Definitely will Google, but I was actually hoping some enterprising Type A person might have already held a Disney food affair and might share their menu

hmmm.... I like the way you think! I vote for Dole whip's for dessert... not too hard to re-create and an obvious MK choice! Have fun!!

The smoked portabello mushroom soup from Artist Point for appetizer.

The flank steak from Garden Grill with Jiko mac n cheese

A sampling of smaller desserts that might be found in the Boulangerie in the France Pavillion

For beverages, you could make a fun punch for everyone and name it something Disney. Although the Dole Whip sounds good for dessert, too.

I tried to make Dole Whip one day and it did NOT come out well. LOL. With cream but no emulsifier it doesn't seem to freeze very well.

But thank you for that menu idea!!! I'll definitely look those up.
