I'm having sort of a dilemma... We usually drive to WDW from Michigan, but this year we are flying. We have some things planned that has me thinking we should have a vehicle on Disney grounds. Any thoughts or suggestions would be a great help. We will use Disney busses for going to/from the parks. But we are going to try and book an Illuminations cruise, we are going to the 8:00 show of the Luau, and DH is going to be doing the Richard Petty driving experience. We are going in February and if memory serves me right, the park hours are shorter this time of year. So my problem is... How do we get back to our resort (Pop Century) if the parks are closed and busses are done running? Would we be better off renting a car for a week and letting it sit until we need it for those couple of outings? Or wait for the busses and have to do the transfer thing at DTD ? If it were just DH and I we'd do the wait thing, but we'll have DS3 and DS11 with us. I know I have plenty of time to plan, but I need to know what to budget for. Thanks for any input.
