Is there an official schedule of when the buses, monorails, boats, etc start running for the day? And when they stop?

How early do they start picking people up to go to the EMH parks?

How late do they pick up at various places at night?

Thanks

try looking on the travel boards. Someone told me recently that buses start running at 6:30 or 7am but I haven't been able to confirm that yet. My assumption is that if the buses start running that early then the monorails and boats do to. We have to have ways to get out to Breakfast ADR's! The buses run approximatley every 10-20 minutes so you can pretty much leave or arrive at the parks whenever you want.

As far after park closing, I think everything runs for an hour after but again, I would check with the Transportation Boards.

Try doing an advanced search...type in buses, then select Titles Only, then in the list of threads, highlight the transportation option and click search. Don't put in anything else or it won't find anything. It may take a few seconds....then try again with the monorails and boats.

Do you have to show your room key or anything to ride the buses? Im asking because my sister and brother in law are coming in the day we are at the water & they are going to meet us there prior to checking in to their hotel (Contemporary).

Their flight arrives at 7:30 am, so they will be taken to the hotel but I am sure they wont be able to check in that early. They were planning to take the bus over to join us at the water park. Will they be able to use the bus to get back to the Contemporary?

The WDW folks never cease to amaze me when it comes to moving people around. (Almost as interesting as the parks themselves.) They do a wonderful job. The busses and monorails begin running about one hour before opening time, and run every few minutes until one hour after park closing time. (The boats however are not as likely to be on time, and may quit running before the parks close.)

Getting around in the WDW resort is really no problem.

Enjoy.

For the most part, the busses run until all the guest are gone on EMH...I KNOW on these nights it's not just 1 hour after they close b/c we waited for one for 1 1/2 hr after EMH closing.

So if we have ADRs at CP at 8:05, will there be a bus to get us there on time if MK opens at 9?
Sorry, don't mean to hijack the thread.

If you need early morning transportation and you have an ADR for a character breakfast in the parks, I believe you should check with your concierge or call the central dining number to arrange for and confirm a bus pick-up at your hotel. And enjoy your breakfast! CP is my favorite character breakfast.

No you do not need any resort ID to take the buses...just get in line and yes they will be able to use the WDW buses to get to any WDW resort :thumbsup2

No NEED to check with anyone for early ADRs or EMH or TOURS.

The buses run EARLY (6:30 or 6:45am) every day.
So do the monorails.
Boats do not, but if you are at FtW or WL, they actually run "special" buses in the early AM for guests with early ADR's and such.

There are hundreds of guests with early appointments and destinations.

Just be outside waiting and a bus will be along soon.

If you have ADRs at Chef Mickey's at CR early... tell the bus driver on the bus marked "Magic Kingdom" and he will actually drive the bus TO the CR and let you out there.
