I am just FULL of questions tonight!

We are using Disney transp. on our trip. We also will have two strollers.
My question is that when you get on the bus do they allow you to put your stroller in a storage area under the bus or do you have to somehow get it and your loved ones onto the bus in the main seating area?

Thanks!

We always rented ours but everyone we saw had to fold them and carry the strollers with them. On Magical Express I watched them put strollers underneath. Most people just put the folded strollers beside them on the buses to and from the parks. Hope this helps.

When riding ME rom MCO to the resort the strollers are placed under the bus. When using regualr disney bus transportation throughout the resort you are responsible for collapsing the stroller and carrying it onto the bus with you. It can be quite the juggling act but that's how it's done.

Thanks! Guess I'll start doing bicep curls! :rotfl: That and train dh to be a pack mule! :lmao:

We just fold it up like we do on the train or the bus back home. You just need to learn how to juggle the children and buggy and all your stuff on the bus. We normally get it by the end of the 2 weeks.

This was my major stress in not renting a stroller.

we got the lightest stroller we could find that closes as small as a double could ever hope to close.

goodluck

We just bought a Peg Perego Aria Double that collapses very easily and weighs about 13 lbs!!! We have done several test runs at the mall and are looking forward to traveling in Sept with it to WDW! It folds up pretty small for a double and is easily carried with one hand while juggling other things in the other hand. (Even by me) DH is excited since he is our "pack mule" :)

We took our DS3 and DD18mts last year, bought 2 chico umbrella strollers and folded them up to get on and off the bus. They were perfect! We needed to bring them because of their ages. If we needed help, the drivers or just other guests helped us. It was great! We also went end of Sept. and buses were empty

Oceana: They retail for about 300 and we got ours for 199.00 online.(Google 2005 aria double) I think ours came from Albee Baby. It is a 2005 (same design as 2006, different colors) After looking all over for one, I couldn't believe when we found it. When in Sept are you going? I am willing to sell after our trip. We bought it just for our trip. We will be there from 9/3 thru 9/9. Let me know what you think.

We took our double jooging stroller in Jan 2005. I was quite skeptical of how this would work, but my husband was sure that he could make it work. We decided that if it was too hard, then we would just leave it in the room and rent. Well, he had the folding down fast! THe kids would sit in it until we saw the bus coming. THen he would pop the front wheel off, fold it up (the wheel was put in the middle), and then he put a "leash" around it to secure it closed (I found it in the luggage dept, I think to wrap around suitcases). It worked really well. We are doing it again in less than a month. I would not recommend it during busy times though because it is quite bulky and there would be no room on a cramped bus! We only had one problematic night when both kids were fast asleep and I couldn't hold them both (4 and 1). A nice gentleman took charge of our stroller for us for the bus ride home!
